I have been to this Japanese izakaya-style restaurant for dinner once during my stay in Chichijima. The location is just in front of Futami port and another restaurant, âBuono Horizonâ, is on the second floor. The dishes they serve are very standard like edamame ( green soybeans ), chips, octopus kimchi ( octopus and cucumbers in Korean hot style ) and so on. Although they serve shima-sushi ( Ogasawara style sushi with mustard ), the taste is not impressive at all and I do not see any reasons to come back this restaurant again.

This Izakaya Sushi restaurant is for only local residents. Of Course tourists also are able to use this place, but they were not welcome. Service level was very poor. Foods were average, some of dishes were cooked with frozen ingredients. Price was similar to restaurants in heart of Tokyo, it means a little bit pricey. If you have no choice to have dinner at your hotel in Hahajima, you will have to come because there is no restaurants in the island.

We visited almost every night. Amazing food, master and ladymaster. They told us about the history, nature and cooking of the island (in Japanese).We enjoyed different dishes every evening. They have a lot of menus. They are all delicious. The restaurant was crowded. We were not good at tatami mat seats. When the number of customers decreased, the master gave us a counter seats. We will visit again!
