Went with a party of 5 for my sons birthday. He goes there often. We ordered a lot of different sushi rolls and all were delicious. Everything is so fresh and the staff is very friendly. We would definitely return.

Been here a couple of times...once for a weekday made-to-order-serve-at-table-buffet option ($21) and the other for a lunch special (~$7). They opened up this past January of 2016. They have a sister restaurant with the same name and and nearly the same entrees in Babylon on Route 109 (check out those reviews too for a sense of how people like the food there).Liked+Sushi Appetizer Entrees - including the Avocado Bowl, Tiger Eye, Sushi Pizza...just really creative presentation and items that are unique to this particular restaurant and their sister+variety of entrees and style - some thai curry options too +Management is solid and diligent and attentive+friend liked their Tom Yam soup+ambienceDidn't Like (or area to improve)-pad thai - probably a bit too starchy/heavy for my taste and frame-speed of bringing out entrees and server demeanor/attitude (this was not bad and it was not slow - nonetheless this an area that can be improved) -another area to improve or a way this can place put themselves over the top is to include a dessert with the ayce option Other similar places like Sushi Village in Hicksville offer the green tea ice cream or the red bean ice cream with fried bananna or fried oreo. This is definitely a worthwhile checkout and a worthwhile splurge if you're in the mood and in the area. One important thing to note, Sake Asian in Massapequa (also in Babylon) are distinctive in that they are probably the only japanese ayce place that includes Thai food options. You don't usually see Thai food included in any ayce place.

Read Trip Advisor reviews and decided to try this but wound up disappointed. Parking was fair (I donât hold that against the restaurant). Restaurant was about half full but noisy. Service was mediocre. Appetizers: White Truffle Tuna was fairly tasty and the Tuna Dumplings were delicious. Unfortunately there were only 3 served. Nabeyaki Udon was completely average and the Beef Negimaki was mixed. Half the pieces were tender and half tough.Eel hand roll was good as was Tobiko sushi.$120 later for two people (after the tip) and it just felt unfulfilling and relatively costly. With spotty service and so many other good Asian restaurants, I likely would not go back.

We had dinner here Friday night and were not as impressed with it as we remember it to be. This used to be one of the only sushi places in town, but now with so many new choices we have tried other places. We were both disappointed with the rolls and think we will try somewhere else next time.

We really enjoyed dinner at Asian Moon. Food was delicious and you can tell that they have a scratch kitchen. The server was slow, inattentive, and annoyed. I felt he was annoyed we came that night. I would understand if we walked in 30 minutes before closing.

Was recommended to this restaurant by a friend...Atmosphere: Modern, clean, but refreshing. Black and rust tones play off touches of ancient Japanese symbolism and statues. Food: Sushi/Sashimi for two was gorgeous and tasty. Also had the ceviche appetizer (salmon) which was not traditional, but very good. All tasted very fresh and well prepared. Service: Attentive but not intrusive. Water glasses stayed filled and waiter would quietly come over to ask if anything else was needed. Would I come back? Will definitely be back, compared to other sushi places we've been to, this place delivers. Give it a try!
