We had heard about Chef Watanabe based on his social media postings so had to try his restaurant out. Unlike many sushi restaurants which are very quiet (especially for English speakers), an evening at Teru Sushi is very entertaining. The restaurant is located in Tobata which is a quiet suburb in Kitakyushu. We caught the JR three stops from Kokura Station and walked for 20 minutes to get there. His restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. The meal was definitely filling and fun. He and his staff are very personable and friendly. Portion sizes are large - there is a lot of local seafood served before the sushi is served. What makes it fun was not only watching Chef Watanabe’s knife skills but also the way he serves his sushi on his third and fourth fingers! Whilst we don’t speak Japanese, he did explain to us the type of food we were eating. The staff spoke enough English with us to get by. Not the most refined sushi we have eaten, but nevertheless an excellent and memorable meal!

北九州が誇る回転寿司『京寿司』本城店。 この間、京寿司門司店にも行きました。それはさておき、本城店の口コミです。今回は、カウンター席に案内されました。まずは、いつものように赤だしと茶碗蒸しをオーダーです。今回は、スズキ、えんがわ、あじ、エビ・・・、最後に定番の卵焼きです。寄る年には勝てず、確実に食べれる量が減ってきています。ちょっと悲しいです。でも、おなかと心は満足です。

ネットで調べて行ってみました。駅前商店街にある回転寿司屋。店内に入るとウェイティングだったため、二階で待つことに。店内は回転レーンのみがあり、直接握ってくれるわけではなく、紙に注文を書くシステム。ネタはよく時に真鯛の皮炙り焼きは非常に美味しかった。

One of the most exclusive places in Japan , This place handles only 5 customers at a time , due to a limited number of counter seats unique and joyful in many ways than one , and most notably for its creative style and warm atmosphere Amano San is a charming human being with a lovely sense of humor , once he engages into conversation , he'd be himself and let's nature takes its course His passion for the food clearly reflected on every dish he prepares , to the most remote details leaving no room for errorsThe sushi here is quite innovative when being compared to the Edomae way It's worth the journey and Without a doubt an experience of a lifetime , I've left utterly speechless & Hungry for more

코쿠라의 헤이와도리 역 인근에 있는 이곳은, 기존의 에도마에 스시와는 확연히 다른, 이른바 창작 스시를 선보이는 곳 입니다. 가격대는 코쿠라의 다른 스시야에 비하면 다소 높은 편이긴 하지만, 스시를 좋아하는 사람들이라면 정말 후회하지 않을 만한 곳이라 할 수 있습니다.스시 코스의 가격대와 사시미 추가 여부, 그리고 못 먹는 생선에 대해 물어본 뒤에 본격적으로 음식이 나오기 시작합니다. 보통의 에도마에 스시들이 연한 맛에서 진한 맛으로 서서히 옮겨 간다면, 이곳은 진한 맛으로 처음부터 끝까지 승부하는데, 그 맛이 상당히 좋아서 기억에 계속 남는 곳 입니다.스시를 좋아하시는 분들께 적극 추천합니다.

先日墓参ついでに来店しました。最近ご無沙汰していたので、多分1年半ぶり。我が家のオススメはフグの皮＆唐揚げ。唐揚げはもちろんカナトフグですが、揚げ物にするならカナトフグで十分。我が家の評価は今回も「安心安全な食事処」。お代はいつもの様にお一人様2000円以下。ランチタイムとしてはセーフ。　その他の情報です。回転寿司としては門司港が本店になっているようですが、本業の魚屋は下関生まれ・・・のはず。数年前銀座5丁目にも進出。やるね！

If you can't speak Japanese, it's not an issue at this place. Order electronically and the conveyer belt drops off sushi individually at your table. The sushi is fresh, the location convenient, and the staff is super efficient. Prices are totally inexpensive. If you're at the JR station in Kokura, make a pit stop.
