This sushi restaurant is in the Omi-cho market, a short bus ride from Kanazawa station. We arrived a bit before noon, but there was already a queue. The wait was not that long, and we were seated in 15 minutes. This sushi restaurant has a conveyor belt, but one orders sushi from a menu. Food does come down the converter belt, but most of them are fries, We were handed a menu while in line, which had pictures on it, and so it should be relatively straight forward to order, even if you do not speak Japanese. In fact, I was seated next to a non-Japanese speaking couple, and they were enjoying their meal. I had a sushi platter with blackthroat seaperch (nodoguro), which was very delicious. The price of the platter was also much more reasonable compared with eating in a full-service restaurant. The place was packed with customers during our visit, which was justified by the quality and reasonable price of the sushi. It's not a place to have a two-hour meal, but definitely great for a quick bite of very good sushi.

Sushi here is of an amazing quality and at a fraction of a price compared to Tokyo. Service was really friendly and accommodating, and I was in my happy place. Probably the best sushi in Kanazawa, and definitely comparable to the sushi shokunin in Tokyo. Certainly can't beat the seafood in Ishikawa!
COIL is a creative modern Japanese restaurant. COIL is for visitors seeking genuine sights, tastes, and senses of the Japanese tradition with a modern touch. Visitors would be able to experience traditional Japanese dishes such as Hosomaki Sushi, Tempura,
We stumbled into Coil while looking for lunch. At first we were intimidated by the high tech tablet ordering system. But stick with it!! The maki rolls come in okamochi boxes and you assemble your rolls with ingredients ordered plus condiments . The staff was so helpful! The food was top quality and very zen atmosphere. Highly recommend for a lovely meal and experienceThank you for your favorable feedback. It really warms our hearts. Our warm hospitality await your return sometime soonï¼

Best Kaiten Sushi ever. Ishikawa is the greatest consumer of Sushi and the mecca for Kaiten Sushi lover in the world. You can get fantastic Sushi here. Taisho who can speak English is a good help to explain the menu. If youâre in Kanazawa and want to eat some great Kaiten Sushi, I would definitely recommend this place. ä¸çæ大ã®å¯¿å¸æ¶è²»å°ã§å転寿å¸ã®æ¿æ¦åºã§ããéæ²¢ã«ãã£ã¦ãå°å æ°ã観å 客ã¨ãã«å¤§äººæ°ã®ãåºãéæ²¢ã«ã¼ã«ã«å¾ãè·äººããã«ç´æ¥ãªã¼ãã¼ããæ¡ã£ã¦ããã£ããã®ãããã ãã¾ãããã®ã©ããã¨ãã£ãç³å·çãªãã§ã¯ã®é«ç´éãï¼ã«ã³ãã¤ããã ããï¼ç¨®çãããçã¨ãã®ã¿ãæ±ãããããã®å¤©ã·ããªã©ãå転寿å¸ã®åãè¶ ãã¦ãã¾ããä¸çä¸ã®å転寿å¸å±ã§ãã

On the 6th floor of the Forus department store in a food court with some interesting options as well. Mori Mori conveyor sushi was high quality with excellent service. Strongly recommend the 3 or 5 piece sushi sets when ordering. Given its popularity there is generally a wait - we waited 30 minutes for a group of 4. The quality of the food was definitely worth the wait. For English speakers, there is a kiosk at the entrance where you enter the number of people in your party and your seating preference: at the bar, in a booth, or either. Then grab a seat on the wooden benches and wait for your number to get called. I hovered by the kiosk since the woman doing the seating only spoke Japanese.

We had some delicious sushi here, and the staff was very friendly and even spoke some English. Itâs easy to order because the have English screen to pick from. Fatty tuna was yummy so was the crab nigiri.

An excellent sushi chef in Tokyo recommended visiting Sushi Maimon, but also gave me the following caveat: The usual sushi you'll eat won't be that special (maguro, saba, aji, ika, tako, etc.) so keep your expectations low. But, for the stuff that's caught locally, the sushi is really impressive. I went to Sushi Maimon last weekend and really enjoyed it. There are sets to order, but I opted for "ikkan zutsu" (ordering "piece by piece"). As expected, the tuna, mackerel, and squid were solid, but nothing spectacular. Where Maimon really shines is in the fish that are local to the Japan Sea. The Nodoguro (black-throated perch or rosy seabass) was amazing -- among the best tasting sushi I've ever had. Slightly more expensive, but totally worth it. Likewise, the Shiroebi (white shrimp) was also delicious. And, because it's Kanazawa they garnish the shiroebi with gold leaf; really nice touch. As others have indicated, it's conveniently located within the Kanazawa Station building, so if you've just arrived in Kanazawa, it's a great way to get a first taste of what Kanazawa has to offer.

The small restaurant is located a little off the beaten track in a quiet residential area. It is beautifully furnished and you are warmly welcomed. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The served sushi and other dishes are deviating from the standard and are interpreted somewhat more freely. And that's good, because everything was very tasty. The choice of drinks is also very good. The price is absolutely reasonable. A great location in Kanazawa. Gladly again. From me to the team: æé£ã
