Hunt Valley is an unincorporated community in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. Its traditional name was based on being just east of Maryland's traditional Horse Country (like the Kentucky Blue Grass region), and the site of the venerable Maryland Hunt Cup championship of steeplechase horse racing and jumping established 1894. It lies just north of the city of Baltimore, along the York Road (former old historic Baltimore-York Turnpike) which is now Maryland Route 45 off Interstate 83. The Loch Raven Reservoir nearby is an important drinking water resource and with its surrounding forested watershed is one of three reservoirs (Loch Raven, Prettyboy and Liberty) established for the City of Baltimore and its surrounding metropolitan areas in Baltimore County since the 1880s and expanded in the 1910s. Located at a latitude of 39.5° North and longitude 76.7° West.

Miku Sushi Steakhouse

Stopped in for a quick late night bite after a function with just lite snacks. Avocado "ball" app was delicious - sushi fish encased in avocado with roe. Had two rolls, Hawaiian and Mr Lobster that were excellent. Staff very friendly, polite and efficient. Very happy to have a great sushi restaurant near our home. Just hope the "Death Valley" strip mall that they're located in doesn't mean they can't make a go of it long term.

First time at new establishment. LOVE the BYOB. Corkerage fee is unfortunate but it's their business model not mine. Small place but adequate. Signature Sushi was quite good even if it took longer than it should to arrive. Shrimp lomein was also very good if light on the vegies for my taste (and health!). Portion was about half the size of normal chinese restaurant for same price. Sesame chicken was good not superb and also light on vegies. The whole place is light on vegies- no tofu or vegetarian dishes that i saw. I guess they don't eat their vegies in Elkton. Also, one of the best looking dishes on the menu pictures not offered!? Overall, enjoyed food and BYOB but other places might fit my preferences (and robust appetite) better.

I had been to Fuji San several times and enjoyed the food. This time, the food was disappointing. The Chicken Satay was breaded and fried in grease rather than being marinated and grilled. The Thai Chicken Salad was also not as good as we remembered. Our friends had a Pad Thai that was not bad.Hi Peter,How are you? I recently just read your review although it was posted about three months ago. We like to thank you for your insight about our Chicken Satay and Thai Chicken Salad. We definitely want to keep our way of cooking the same! We do marinate the Chicken Satay, however we are now pan frying it instead of grilling, due to time consumption. As, for the Thai Chicken Salad we will try to see what changes could be made or what could be done better. We are very thankful for your critical review. Thank you and have great day :].

For those who like large portions, you may like this place more than I did. I ordered a green salad and got at least a whole head of lettuce. But that was all it was. Nothing but lettuce and enough for about 4 people. I also ordered wonton soup, and got a huge bowl. . .again way more than one person could eat. There was also not a lot of seasoning. We were looking for something light. . .some soup, salad and a couple sushi rolls. That and the rolls we got were OK. Not horrible, not great. My friend got a ramen noodle soup with crispy chicken. He expected the chicken in the soup, but it was only a large bowl of broth and noodles with a few scallions and a whole fried chicken breast on the side. It was not what he expected. Service was also not great and everything came out almost at the same time, so we couldn't eat things in the order we might have wanted without other things getting cold. The next night we went to Fusion, my favorite sushi restaurant in this area, and there we had a really delicious meal.

This is an average Japanese restaurant, The sushi is nothing spectacular. The special rolls are covered with sauces. The sashimi selections on the fishes are limited. Overall, the menu is limited and the taste of everything is ordinary. Also, the restaurant has no liquor licence but there is a liquor store next store. They offer a decent variety of cold sake. This is a so-so, nothing special restaurant just happens to serve Japanese food. A neighbourhood place but not worth a drive to go there.

Yamato Sushi

Reviewed By John V

Okay, call me a sushi snob, but I never thought of Timonium as a place to find really good sushi (I went to the State Fairgrounds there for a train show!). But I did a quick search for someplace to grab lunch, and the reviews convinced me to try Yamato Sushi. A good call indeed! When I got there, it was pretty well packed, but I was able to get a seat at the sushi bar. I ordered a la carte, sampling both nigiri and maki sushi. I was impressed, the tuna roll was perfectly formed, with plenty of fresh maguro inside. And the nigiri was also very nice, with a good ratio of rice to fish.Prices were reasonable and the service was excellent, and I had the feeling of being in an old-school sushi bar. Except, that is, for the wild variety of rolls. The assortment of ingredients that get tucked inside a sheet of seaweed boggle one’s mind, and many of these are on the menu at Yamato. However, it’s easy to go traditional here, and that’s what I did for a very refreshing meal. I’ll be heading back to Yamato whenever I find myself in the area.

Average food, average restaurant. A little pricier than other sushi restaurants. The lady behind the counter is not helpful when you ask her about the food. The gentleman preparing the sushi rolls is courteous and pleasant. We went here for lunch there was no air conditioning but they have the door open to let the air in. It wasn't too hot at that time but I don't know how they can keep their food fresh.

Eight of us from the office decided to try Fusion for lunch and called our order ahead and reserved the table. The food came out immediately after we sat down!! We called 25mins ahead. My Spicy Rainbow Roll and side order of Seaweed Salad was delicious ($12.50 for the roll and $5.00 for the salad). Our server was very friendly and efficient. Ample parking on site. We'll definitely be back!
