We often pop in here for lunch and the fare has drastically improved in recent months, very fresh and flavorful, from the rolls to the soup and salads. My only complaint is they are completely inflexible about the menu unlike most sushi restaurants I frequent. For example, I wanted to order the sushi lunch special and change out eel for my favorite yellow-tail. The waitress had to go check with the chef who said "NO" despite the fact I offered to pay more for it. Kind of lame, but otherwise, a sure bet for local sushi and much better than the option on Main Street.

Service needed a bit more training maybe...? Felt as though one person knew how to treat customers while the other ten people working were inconvenienced by having us be there. Presentation was well done and they serve a tight roll, but I'm afraid I wouldn't return unless it was take out. Nothing that can't be fixed, and for the price, it was very good.

The review below mine gives the best description ever. I agree. Was with family and and we thought oh well, we'll try it. We had no expectations. But we were wowed!! Unusual environment, Delicious sushi. Good service. Ordered the lunch special and it did not disappoint. The food is far more appetizing than my photos show, Would return anytime!!

For sashimi lovers, Monster Chef with All-You-Can-Eat for weekend lunch at $29 is a steal. Sashimi of all kinds are fresh. Many cooked food dishes: deep fried baby octopus & clam in broth are good. Add $7 AYCD sake or beer. Add $10 for Uni or Toro. For 4 of us, we split 28 orders for $50 each. Tuna from Pacific is not as rich & firm as that of Atlantic. Excellent value especially with a bunch of hungry boys. Service is attentive & friendly.
