I have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions this was the very best meal that I have had there. We shared a number Rolls. Everything was very good and the service was excellent. The red dragon roll was exceptional. Starting with the spinach in a peanut and sesame sauce, delicious. We ended with an appetizer with Alaskan King Crab. Great way to end the meal. Congratulations to the chef.

Horribly rude and arrogant front desk staff. Worst treatment I have ever received at a restaurant. We called ahead and were told they were not taking reservations until 8, but that we could come and wait and they could get us in in a few minutes. Upon arrival, three young staff members at the front desk rudely told us nothing was available. There were tables open everywhere. They did not even give us the option to wait. Essentially, we were judged upon entering the restaurant and the message was clear: we were not welcome. Our business was not wanted. Upon reading through other reviews on google, it seems others have had the same experience with the three front desk staff members we encountered. My question to Shakou: why employ such people? Why allow these three arrogant young people to treat potential customers this way?Thank you for your feedback; it only helps us get better. I return here often as it is one of the best sushi places in the western suburbs of Chicago. The menu offers some really good custom rolls. Delicious and the food looks great also!

We stopped in Tsukasa when we were in the area shopping. We'll come back. They have very good sushi presented in a classic style. Prices are very fair. If you're looking for good, fresh sushi, this is the place to go.
