The food was very good for sure. The iPad ordering made the experience speedy. Almost too speedy in fact. The atmosphere was also not one to encourage lingering. However, our server Gerald made the experience truly delightful. He was so engaging and helpful....far more so than the original man who seated us. Once Gerald came along, it was delightful!

After looking at many restaurants in the neighbourhood, I decided to come here. It was my first visit. When I came in I seated myself. Looking around the restaurant was nearly full, which is always a good sign. There are several choices for the $10 lunch. I asked for the sushi combo which is sushi with a California roll. It also comes with Japanese salad and miso soup, and is served in a bento box. I used the wifi while I waited. My bento box came and to my surprise it had all of the above plus japchae and some crab tempura. This is a very popular restaurant with friendly service and definitely a good value with their lunch special. As I was leaving I saw several other people eating the same sushi lunch special that I had ordered.

We were actually looking round for somewhere for a cuppa and some wifi (it's very expensive on a cruise ship, and even though Canada was supposed to be included in my tariff, there was a problem). We noticed it was getting towards lunchtime so happened upon this place. There were some rather confusing âspecial big saleâ offers outside, but not sure that they were mentioned once we sat down, however, the lunch section at the back of the menu did the trick and we went for bento boxes, although we do like Korean food very much, so ordered a side of kimchi too which was nicely spicy. Not sure if it was a one off, but at first we also had problems accessing the wifi, and that was one of the main reasons for going in - the waitress reset the server, which made it work, but it did take a while to come back on.We hadnât been told to ring the bell by the table, so waited quite a while to be served. Had I not rang it to see what it did, we might still be waiting. The bento boxes were okay (from what I remember, the tempura veg wasnât especially crispy). To be honest, itâs a month since we ate here and I only remembered about it whilst going through my photos â Iâm afraid the service was nowhere near as friendly as other places we visited in Canada and lunch was less than memorable in this lovely town which is well worth a visit - please don't miss the Confederation Table mock up in the centre over the road, it really is a must see while if you're in the area showing how Canada started to come together as a nation.
