Continuing my search for outstanding sushi in the Dayton area, my wife and I did a lunch date at this location. No regrets! Tho' I found the tab (over $50 after tip) a sight more than I'm used to paying. When you arrive at this little place, you find a small dining room in a Pompeiian red-and-black color scheme, tables and booths crowded to maximum capacity. There were not too many diners here on our Thursday noon visit, but I suspect at their busier times your proximity to others would be pretty Japanese.Service was smooth and attentive. Our lunches started with a good miso soup, and then we settled into our main courses. My wife had a tempura box, five pieces of nigiri, four bites of California roll (she loves those), several pieces of mixed tempura. She enjoyed it thoroughly. I got another lunch special, a sushi and specialty roll combo, which included three nigiri--the salmon and tuna were supremely fresh. My specialty roll was their caterpillar, containing eel and crab in perfect harmony, wrapped in thin cucumber, topped with avocado and masko over a savory eel sauce--fabulous! It's my approach to devour a piece of sushi, then cleanse the palate with a sliver of pickled ginger (theirs is extremely spicy!), then a sip of warm sake (they have a very good list), and a swig of tea--it went quite well. This locaton also presents Korean dishes if you have a party member who dislikes Japanese. It's not the transcendent sushi place I'm hoping to find--but they are exellent.

We've shopped at the Washington Square store and Springboro locations since they opened. We have never had a bad experience. Always sure to find wonderfully prepared foods. Bakery items are fantastic!! Produce is of high quality. Wonderful meats and cheeses. Prices can be a bit high, but worth the price if looking for healthy, high quality food.

Following a day of tennis at the Club, we elect China Dynasty for an early dinner.Among the many advantages of living in the greater Dayton Metropolitan area is a plethora of dining experiences, and China Dynasty offers Chinese, Thai, and Japanese dining, and does the three menus quite well.China Dynasty is borderline Five Star Dining, and we rate China Dynasty as a solid 4.5.Chef Steve and his wife, Sophia own, manage, and serve in this âmom and popâ Chinese restaurant. We are pleased to have a conversation with both Steve and Sophia.Ambience: Upscale white tablecloth, with a full bar, and a wall of windows.Service: FlawlessDining: Very impressive. We ordered from the dinner menu and selected the House Special: Spicy, Crispy Shrimp. The order seemed to consist of fresh very large prawns, and this dish is excellent. We highly recommend China Dynasty. The tariff is appropriate for the fare.

Incredible Sushi! Absolutely amazing!
´Tis a grand day.Sushi Hana is a small Japanese and Korean menu and dining restaurant, which we frequent and recommend. Sushi Hana has a prominent location in a small strip mall at the corner of Yankee and Lyons. Sushi Hana is perhaps a five-minute commute if we use I-675. Our rating is a solid 4.5.I had promised my wife many choices, and we order from the dinner rather than the lunch menu. She: Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap marinated beef, mixed vegetables and fried egg on rice with Korean hot bean paste served in hot stone bowl. My wife loves hot stone bowl dining. He: Shrimp Tempura lightly deep fried shrimp and vegetables with tempura sauce. Ever since the long ago Seattle Space Needle Shrimp Tempura dining, we both are very fond of Shrimp Tempura dining. We know that the Korean owners tend to know and greet their clientele, and there are many regulars dining today. While the ambience is plain vanilla, the owners and servers offer a warm ambience. The menu is outstanding, and the dining is great. We do note the about 75% of the diners are here for a Sushi Roll, and these are all hand made to order. The tariff is appropriate for the fare.
The place has full seating, plus a well-appointed sushi bar and a full-service bar. I had some sushi, sashimi and negiri, all very well prepared. My companion and I both ordered full meals. They came with choice of soup and salad. The dishes, traditional Chinese fare, were well prepared and tasty. The prices are reasonable - $10 for a full meal. Right now (July 2014) sushi is 50% off and sashimi and negiri are 40% off. This place is well worth the trip. We'll be back.
