I was glad to see the Moshi in the menue as a desert - I loved to have those when I was in Tokyo.a young and attentive waitress served us, a little chaotic but very friendly. An excellent tasting homemade juice was a great intro for the evening. Starters for two are not yet on the menue - still they managed that challenge :). and the tuna tartar was outstanding.Makis and Nigiris and inside-outs were of excellent quality (a bit too innovative and fusion for my taste). finally Moshi. Not Tokyo league but very, very acceptable. One might even say they were really good ;)Chances are that I will be back to taste all the other goodies from the huge menue.btw: did not understand a word of the âJapaneseâ (no wonder, I learned that they are Chinese...)

I just read this one star review "huy is salzburg's latest copy-cat concept of the cooking khan monglian bbq. the choices of ingredients are similar. in addition there are some typical chinese dishes (all prepared) at the buffet as well (pretty cold tho). pick your ingredients, add a sauce of your choice and leave the plate at the show-kitchen. you will have it served back to your table right when it is done. staff there are very fast and friendly, the food quality is really poor tho. everything is fried, dripping in oil and cold. even if the buffet price is slightly cheaper than cooking khan or world of asia, it's not worth it...."I disagree. I mean, what do you expect from a buffet that offeres fresh scampi, beef filet and a (small) variety of sushi for less than $20? It's not the Ritz, but I went there again and again, and liked it better that the World of Asia that the other critic suggests. I managed to sleep in a hotel next door to the World of Asia (which restricts how often you may pick scampi or filet) - and still drove the 20+ mins to the Huy. That should say it all. Whatever you chose, you will be well fed for a small amount of money.a hotel next door to the World of Asia (which restricts how often you may pick scampi or filet) - and still drove the 20+ mins to the Huy. Let yourself in an experience the full range of the asian cuisine in our all you can eat restaurant in Salzburg. Our all you can eat buffet takes you on a journey of the Asian cuisine - from sushi and Teppanyaki to traditional Chinese food. We offer a hug
Terrible quality. The steak had holes/bubbles and other weird stuff inside, I mean of course for around 20 euros all you can eat you can't expect the highest quality but at least real meat and not some pressed piece of garbage. The sushi is okay but nothing special, definitely quantity before quality. Would not recommend going there.

Stopped here for lunch as was near our hotel and we wanted something different to the traditional austrian food. Loved the food, the venue, the atmosphere and the prices. Had the vegetarian peanut stew and the Thai curry and boy here really tasty. Liked being able to build your meal picking the different components. Would definitely go again

The restaurant is just a 5-minute walk from our hotel near central train station. We were pleasantly surprised by the choices and taste of the dishes (chicken, pork, beef, prawns, fish, vegetables, sushi, miso soup, hot and sour soup, ice cream etc.). The charge for all-you-can-eat buffet is 14.90 euros per person, very reasonable. No wonder we went back for another round of buffet two days later.

Friday night, no reservation - no table :( but the very helpful waitress made it possible for us to get a nice table! After being to the more upscale NAGANO restaurant a few days before, we were eagerly looking forward to a good experience, as "Nagano" was not so good after all...We had a Tom Yum-soup with shrimps and a Gyoza-soup as starters - both very delicious! Then my wife wanted something simple: fried rice with curry and seafood - it said to be hot in the menu, but it was more on the mild side. Nevertheless, very tasty. I had a Chirashi bowl with Tuna, which was very yummy! The rice had the right consistence for this kind of dish...and the tuna was very fresh! We finished our dinner with fried bananas (not made with honey, but with caramelized sugar instead...not too sweet).A little bit off the tourist path and it seems that it pays off! Very friendly service staff! We will come back for more!!

Had we not been with friends from Salzburg who were taking us to a specific store in the Europark Salzburg mall and knew of this restaurant, we would never have eaten there. At 2:30pm on a beautiful Friday afternoon, Yaoyao was obviously known to the locals and apparently quite popular as it was packed. From start to finish, the service was friendly, prompt and efficient. It was entertaining to watch the staff scurrying about. It appeared that any server could access our orders on their electronic pads to add/delete/change, so anyone was able to help us at any time. The variety of asian food offerings which included Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese was impressive. There was something asian for most every palate. I had a Chinese noodle dish but our group of five also tried Thai and Japanese. It was all delicious. The only downside was that their meal portions were not overly generous, and most of us could have eaten a bit more.Dear guest! Thanks a lot for you Feedback about our dishes and service! Really appreciate it! See you soon at Yaoyao
