This restaurant has managed to survive among competition from bigger Japanese restaurants but they seem to have a loyal clientele even if they don't draw from a larger area. I must admit that I use this restaurant for take away when I want some Japanese food. Eat in or take away, their food is very good and portions are ample.

When we want Japanese food we usually come here. The food is good if not totally Japanese,(I lived in Japan for 2 years and know the real deal) My issue really is that I found an 18% gratuity already added to my bill. I found this unusual for a party of 2. So, before you add a tip, make sure they haven't added it already.

Fresh, generous and extremely tasty sushi! Prices are very reasonable too! Had a nice variety of rolls and specials. One of my favorites was the Mango & Smoked Salmon but there were others that made the decision difficult. It was nice to be able to stay on the West Bank for quality sushi without having to go across the river to New Orleans proper.
