From the hip decor to the extensive menu Bayshore has a real gem of a Japanese restaurant. Although Sushi is the most prominent offering, the Hibachi steak and lobster was superb. The waitress offered a tasting of many Saki brands and couldn't have been more accommodating. We had many types of Sushi rolls one better than the next. Ice cream for dessert. Worth the trip.

Stopped in to grab a quick roll before an off site meeting at 7pm. FABULOUS! Food was better than expected and service very attentive. I am a bit fussy when ordering rolls but they accommodated my every request. Prices were fair and I was not charged extra for changing the roll. They have a nice hibachi grill in a separate room that was being used for a young persons birthday! I would definitely return again.

It seems that Kumo gets better and better each time we go. The sushi portions are large and fresh. I tried the wasabi shumai dumplings and some other choice appetizers and loved each on. Great atmosphere and great staff!

Another dinner before a great show at the Boulton Center in Bay Shore. Mitsui is on the corner so the window seats have a great view of town. Dim light, candles, a sophisticated atmosphere make this a perfect date place. The booths are great for family gatherings. And you can't beat the prices!! We ordered the Fancy Tuna roll, the yummi roll and two cooked shrimp rolls (Boston and Tempura) for the not too adventurous me. They were amazing. The Yummi roll should be called the super awesome roll. Just a wonderful time. Full bar, pleasant service. Just terrific.

Peninsula Chinese & Japanese Cuisine has been taken over by Orient Chinese Restaurant in Bethpage. Currently Run by Orient's Owner Tommy's Son Raymond. If you want good food like the food you get from Orient this is the place to go.
Peninsula is a very relaxing, cozy spot to have an Asian Fusion lunch. I sat at the sushi bar and ordered some rolls paired with an ice cold Sapporo. The Sushi was beautifully rolled. Rice was the perfect texture. Just a great place to enjoy my favorite lunch.
