It is the second largest city of Chiloé Archipelago after Castro. The city was established in 1768 to function as the capital of the archipelago and held that position until 1982.

We visited Chiloé for the day and tried to make the best of our time there. Being low season, there weren't many places open along the route to stop by while visiting the island, which forced us to skip lunch. We were beyond hungry when we returned to Ancud. Using Tripadvisor, we managed to get to this tiny place. It was time for taking ONCE, so we ordered some SELLADITOS. All of them were great but the one with salmon was fantastic. After an hour and a half, it was time for SUSHI. The owner makes the rolls himself. They were perfect: fresh, a good size, and some of the best I've eaten since being in Chile. The atmosphere is so nice with blues and old rock and rolls playing in the background to seal a fantastic meal.Dear Majo, it's a great pleasure for all of us read a review like this and give us the most powerfull fuel to get better day after day, thanks a lot and we hope that you come back again.

Local para hacer pedidos o delivery es muy rápido y muy bueno también lo que lo hace perfecto, a su vez también tiene una carta variada de comida como comida china japonesa y tailandesa. recomendable y gran variedad de sushi.
