Hossâs Steak and Sea House is a family restaurant featuring fresh-cut steaks, seafood, and tender chicken entreesâ¦all cooked to order! Enjoy our fresh and wholesome Soup & Salad Bar with homemade soups, just-baked breads, fresh fruits, delicious desserts,
The place was large - never been to one prior. The steak was good but nothing fabulous but for the price was good. Think Applebee's or tgifridays. The salad bar was super impressive and with soup, salad, dessert and everything in between it was good. Service was very slow considering the place was rather empty - we where in a back room and I think forgotten.

We have been coming here for more years than I want to remember. Great neighborhood bar that reigns above all chain restaurants and other local eateries in the area. Friendly people, easy parking, great food, good service all in a very clean restaurant. Tables or bar area, we opted to eat at the bar on this Saturday afternoon. Not crowded at this time but they were preparing for the dinner crowd that evening. Menu board with the specials displayed which upon our entry suggested the .10 cent pit beef sandwich! Really, must be $10.00, I asked, ten cents every Saturday! Not a huge sandwich but all we needed with a delicious chicken ceaser salad and a couple beers. Great food, cold drinks, priced right with good service thrown in! Prime rib is their specialty and crab cakes are good also. Overall, this place is a hit and when you see how clean it is, (bathrooms included), you will be amazed.Try this local gem, worth the drive.

This was the first time in about year we visited the oak restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. We had pork belly trio for the appetizer and it was delicious. The restaurant now is under different management and you can tell the difference. The manager came out to us to talk about the different changes they were making on the menu and the chef came out to see how we liked our dinner. If you haven't tried it yet, it's time and if you stayed away for any reason it's time to go back. Thank you for giving us another try! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed Oak! We look forward to serving you and your family soon! Thank you for the review!

We have frequented LongHorn Steakhouses in several locations, and have always been very pleased. However, last night was very disappointing. The Wild West shrimp appetizer, and water arrived quickly. However, the beers didnât arrive until AFTER our entrees were delivered to our table! And the entrees didnât come out quickly, either. The server, who was at least friendly, said the bartender was busy. However, there was no head on the room temperature beer. Both steaks were barely above room temperature. The skewer of shrimp were somewhat warm, but the âmeltedâ butter was solid. One person in our group said his burger was good, and warm. The broccoli had delicious flavor, however was also not even warm. We had driven a total of 8 hours in horrible rain and wind, and were very much looking forward to cold beer and hot, delicious steaks. Sadly, that wasnât our experience.Hopefully the whole staff just had a bad night.

We experienced terrible service and inconsistent food quality this evening. It took 10 mins to get recognized. Anytime our server came to our table of 6, the drinks and food were handed out from where she was standing by asking who got what. A soup was missed, food was served as it was made, not by course. They wouldnât make a smaller salad out of a dinner salad, so two of ask to split one. It was delivered as one salad without a second bowl for us to even split it. I ordered the fried oysters, named on their menu as a signature dish. The oysters were small and way over cooked. The broccoli was over cooked and mushy. To top it all, they included the gratuity in the bill. Others had okay meals, but we were all disappointed with the service. Thanks for the feedback. It's greatly appreciated. We apologize if our service did not meet your expectation. Our kitchen is well versed at firing courses correctly which leaves us a bit confused. Currently at this time we do not serve a small handmade organic spinach salad and presented a side plate for your table. We would have gladly presented a bowl had we known this was your preference. This season Fresh Oysters have been running smaller in size to due warmer waters so we in turn present a larger portion to accomadate this seasonal challenge. For parties of six or more we reserve the option to add gratuity which is a common practice... However missing the mark on your experience would and should not warrant this courtesy if we did not deliver an exemplary experience. If at all possible please share your thoughts onsite so we make immediate corrective action. We have been serving York's Finest Seafood since 1947 and take great pride in being "One of the BEST"Please do not hesitate to call us at 717-755-7300 to discuss in detail. We will try to do better. Have a Blessed Day! Godspeed
