When making the reservation I was geven advice on where to park. A few seconds later I got a text message confirming the reservation and additional driving directions. Restaurant looks very nice. Great variety of meat to choose from. Steak well prepared. The restaurant sits in a quiet residential street surrounded by old-fashioned apartments - in Scotland they would be called tenements; a genteel kind of a place. We ate midweek and the restaurant was pleasantly full without being noisy. The service was unfussy and attentive. English menus are available. We both had starters and the cheese-filled pastry (a home made speciality) accompanied by a light salad was excellent, but the steaks that we had were both excellent. One was medium and the other medium-rare; both were cooked to perfection. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the steaks that we had were the smaller of the fillets on offer at 150 grm. Exactly the right size. Simple accompaniments. Absolutely first-class meal and worth the detour if you are not staying locally.I thought there was some mistake with the bill - it was only â¬62.50, though to be fair, we were not drinking. Absolutely excellent value for money and I liked the fact that they did not load the bill up with unasked for extras. The price you saw on the menu was the price that appeared on the bill.

My wife and I enjoyed this restaurant. The staff were friendly and professional. The steaks were incredible...perfect cuts of meat and cooked to our satisfaction. We will definitely return again.
