Butch has had many Milwaukee area steak houses and bars. The newest incarnation is a pub with small dining area. Butch still makes the steaks. We enjoyed the steer tender filets which was one of the specials. It is worth the extra cost as the steak was very tender and flavorful. The dinner comes with sautéed mushrooms. Thereâs a slight upcharge for a baked potato instead of fries, same to get onion rings. Coleslaw and Texas toast are also served. Meal was good and service was very attentive. Prices are reasonable, parking available next to the pub. Full bar.

First time we've been here and we'll definitely go back. Great food and reasonable prices. My prime rib was delicious and tender; leftover portion was just as juicy and tasty the next day. BTW, no gravy with my prime rib, just natural juices. My wife's small filet was good and both other meals in our foursome were good also.

Wonderful classic steak house with excellent service. Our waiter, Tony was new but took great care of us. He was knowledgeable about the menu selections and gave us useful suggestions on what to order. Service was quick and efficient but not rushed. Food was presented nicely and was prepared perfectly. Sides are to be shared so be aware that portions are huge. I had the filet special and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I loved the creamed spinach! Assistance with wine selection was available both on iPad and printed form plus we had wonderful, personal advice from the manager who stood in for a sommelier and was very familiar with their wine selection. It was a lovely evening with good service, good food, wine and atmosphere. Great restaurant to enjoy when out of town.

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We read through at least 10 other restaurants on TripAdvisor, but this place seemed to have everything we were looking for. The place is very nice, lots of windows and ambient lighting. Our two servers, Jenny and Tony were great. Both were very kind and easy to talk to. They were extremely fast with filling our glasses and trading our silverware/plates. The meals we had will be remembered for years to come. The bacon wrapped scallops were the best we have ever had. The filet mignon's we each ordered were extremely tender and juicy. The seasoning was spot on. And then there was the side dish we shared...the lobster mac and cheese was unbelievable! The night concluded with a surprise dessert for our special outing. Very pleased with this place, not only do we look forward to coming back, but we will be sure to spread the word to friends and family.

I dined here last weekend and have mixed feelings. While the filet was absolutely delicious, the New York strip, sides, and dessert were just average. I also had a fairly off-putting experience. We were seated right next to the hostess station and the owner(??) kept coming by and was constantly yelling at the hostess for not getting people seated within 20 minutes of their reservation time. It was really awkward. I would probably come back for the amazing filet, though.

Debbie provided outstanding friendly and helpful service. She really added to our dining experience. And, the steaks provided the flavor, lots of it. The wonderfully charred steaks are achieved by the chef pouring a special liquid over the steaks while cooking at 1000 degrees in the oven; they are charred not burned. And, then they are served in their own juices, which is better than any steak sauce. I was just at Manny's Steakhouse in Minneapolis earlier in the week and this place has better steaks. We'll be back for sure!!!

A dear friend of mine took me here for my birthday. It is a very small, old fashioned supper club, that, if you are not paying attention, you will drive right by. Yes, it is pricey, but the food and service was outstanding. We had the fish special. It was a white tuna, that I usually have cold in a Japanese sushi place. They served it warm and delicate. It was melt in your mouth fabulous. The first time, the fish was not as warm as it should be, and the waitress overheard us talking. She immediately came over to us, took our plates and had it done over. Amazing. We didn't even ask!

Just a little bit of NOLA in the middle of the frozen tundra. We specialize in great cajun and creole cuisine, amazing craft cocktails, and phenomenal service. Like they say in the quarter, "laissez le bon temps rouler!" or "Let the good times roll!"
Crawdaddys was our favorite restaurant from way back when it was on greenfield av. We were excited to see it back open. When we arrived the restaurant was completely empty. Which was odd to us but it was early so we did not think anything of it. We then looked at the menu. They had many changes to the menu and many items on the menu are not cajun. We ordered crab cakes which were obviously frozen and were like hockey pucks. My husband ordered brisket. It was supposed to be slices and it came out in chunks. It actually looked like tofu. It was not good and he ate two bites and we paid and left. We will never be back and do not think this place will stay open long. Too bad as they had a good thing before going under new ownership.Sherry, the original Crawdaddy's you were so fond of will be re-opening soon on 96th & National. You can visit us on Facebook at Crawdaddy's Roadhouse.

I come here fairly frequently and I am always impressed with the experience, food and service. Since the change in ownership, things have only gotten better. Preserve the traditional menu items and update those that could use it. Best atmosphere in town.
