Vejer de la Frontera is a Spanish hilltop town and municipality in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia, on the right bank of the river Barbate. The town of Vejer de la Frontera occupies a low hill overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar and surrounded by orchards and orange groves. Been yesterday for late dining and its definitely impressive the huge range and quality of their beef steaks! Difficult to find something similar. NOTICE: if you are not familiar with beef meat better to ask staff for recommendation as tastes of beef are different and many different beefs there, also it depends of maturated time and years (not better or worst, im talking about its taste). We came by recommendation as it is really lost in the middle of a non remarkable area but worth the hassle to find it! prices not cheap but matching or even below food quality. Its not a matter of elaboration if you know what i mean, its a matter of impressive range quality beef meat. Huge range of wines. We been 5, eating the best steaks and drinking, payed 280 euros, so not bad really for the quality. Staff and service very correct. I have been told its difficult to book there and gets really busy, so make sense to book before drive far, but you will not regret. To be recommended 101%. We will be back!

We had: barriga de atun, ensalada de alcachofa y setas, cake with chocolate for dessert. We had some very nice white wine too and a bottle of water. All for 43 euros (2 people).The service was great. The waiters, very friendly and helpful.The quality of the tuna and all of the ingredients, superb! The dishes were neatly presented. Generous servings.

Muy buen trato y comida casera maravillosa.A recomendar las tachuelas, la tortilla de espárragos y sin duda el lomo en la manteca. Las ensaladas con productos frescos de la huerta.Los postres caseros, en especial una exquisitez el arroz con leche y las natillas con galleta.Buenas raciones y buenos precios.Para venir todos los fines de semana sin duda.
