It is more than a restaurant, the "Winter Center" Las Cotorras, a good distance from the center of Ushuaia, only reachable by car through the tollroad that goes east, includes two small shops, a center for ski dogs breeding and training and other attractions, including the landscape and the buildings. It is very visual, particularly the roasting area outside the restaurant. Food is always the argentinian lamb 'churrasco', of the best possible, acompanied by a choice of salads and potatoes. People devour with fervor, helped by house wines. Enjoyed a lot.

Stopped at this location during our tour. One of the attractions that the place offers visitors is the ceremony of the mountain coffee. The owner of the place tells and shows the different steps for its preparation, explaining what is the magic that holds the drink in such high regard. I had a taste of three different concoctions in order to participate. Managed to purchase a few items in the souvenir shop and some refreshments in the café. Large wood-burning construction near the entry, the winter's wood cut and neatly stacked in place, large area of dog kennels at the rear of the souvenir shop, wonderful scenery surrounding. Good to stop if passing; we were told it comes to life during winter and is a great base to participate in winter sports.

Wonderful wait staff here, as was the food. Lamb parilla was superb! A little bit pricey, but worth it for the meal. Very popular too with plenty of seating, which is always a good sign.

Salads consist mainly from frozen vegetables, they are blend. Poor offer of dressings. Meat have strong odour and appears like it could cause illness. The service was very slow, it was so slow that they ran out of desserts before they got to our table. Usually we had to ask twice to order anything. Not worth the money and time.
