I was excited to have a new Salt Grass Steakhouse in town, but I won't be going back. The food was just not worth the price, and the steak was full of gristle and chewy. Very disappointing!

This was the 1st time in many years to go to this particular restaurant. They had some lobster specials so we decided to try it again. Wish we had gone down the road instead. Service was slow. Took an hour from order to arrival of food. My son ordered medium rare and got medium well. I had some sort of lobster platter. Picture looked great and thought there would be enough to share with my wife. Nope. Portions were really small. The tail wasn't much bigger than my thumb. The stuffed shrimp came out cold and raw. They made more and they at least were okay. Sides were decent. They had a decent variety of choices on the menu. Overall, prices were on the high side for what you got.

Texas de Brazil is a Brazilian steakhouse or churrascaria, that features endless servings of ï¬ame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as well as an extravagant salad area with a wide array of seasonal chef-crafted items.
We arrived at Texas de Brazil promptly at 5:00pm and were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our server, Alex, was prompt and gracious and explained the dining system to us. We started with the salad bar which was well laid out with extensive delicious offerings. The salad bar itself could be an entire meal with various salad offerings, cheeses, cold cuts, and soups. The meat variety was extensive with each of the offerings being well prepared and delicious. My favorites were the Beef Rib; thinly sliced, juicy and tender, and the Brazilian Sausages. The Leg of Lamb and the Lamb Chops were equally delicious. All in all Texas de Brazil in Tyler. Texas is a great dining experience.

Choice steaks, seafood & global wines served in warm, sophisticated setting with a heated patio. Live music Tuesday-Saturday.
Clearly Tyler has lots of great steakhouses. This one is definitely at the top. We were a large family wedding party and again the service was excellent and the steaks out of this world. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Grand entrance to both the restaurant and the bar area. Beautiful historic downtown building and we loved our private dining space. Our group had everything from the cheese tray (loved the Brie and Gorgonzola) to entrees including Sea Bass, Salmon, Ribeye and Elk. On the salmon - There is a wide variety on temperature for cooking salmon. Mine came out what I call "Alaska style" which is more on the really pink side / ok but prefer more on medium. All good - could have sent back but enjoyed regardless.Elk was tender and a bit "spicer" then the ribeye.Nice wine list - but would like to see more wines available "by the glass"Solid service / energetic staff. Thanks Megan!

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Food is great and best steaks in Tyler. Itâs worth a trip to just eat the peanuts. Bread is great and good butter. Only then I do not like is the loud noise.
