We had only the best memories from our previous visits. So this came as a shock. They brought beef instead of the grilled salmon we had ordered. Beef picanha steaks were dry from outside and totally raw inside (ordered medium).Service was polite and - mostly - thoughtful, until they brought panna cotta with gin-floated berries to our pre-teenager. There will be a long time before we'd want them to give another try - there are many nice places in Tartu to replace them. And I do not need even to mention the prices... Still, would love to have you back the way you used to be!

This place seems to attract a crowd even on weekdays. There is a full bar on one side and a very up-styled dining room on the other. We went twice and had excellent meals both times - steak, lamb chops, burgers - all were well prepared, ample and nicely presented. But my favorite was the goat cheese salad - excellent!!
Well signposted, it's worth stopping here for lunch when travelling south through Estonia.Their Solyanka soup is famous! The restaurant is modern, and the TV/music plays fairly loudly. But the atmosphere is good, and there's an interesting selection of dishes, all of which are presented well. My group tried the chicken steak, the salmon pasta, the chicken salad and the burger. (The burger took much longer to arrive, for some reason).Prices came to around 10 euros per person including a drink.
Lihuniku Ãri is Estonia's first butchery. The Anguses and Herefords in Lihuniku Ãri are selected with extra care, from three grass-fed farms in Estonia. This butchery is in perfect harmony with its restaurant, that offers 100% local products. Evenings her
You can easily walk past this hidden gem: no signs, no neon lights, and situated in the shadows of a pocket recess between the SEB Bank and the new building next to it. When you look in, the small premises look like a butchers shop. And indeed, it is a butchers shop as well: you can also buy meat with you. The organically grown meat comes from the farm of the owners. You can choose your lump of beef from the meat counter and it will be cut in front of you and fried. The place has homepage but you cannot find the brief menu on the internet, and even in the restaurant, it is only written on the wall. The atmosphere is cosy, the food excellent, and what is best, the prices are lower the average. Also, the selection of wines is good and reasonably priced. When in Tartu, do not miss this one!
