he Peddler is one of Spartanburg's finest restaurants and one of it's few true steakhouses. It is a unique and inviting atmosphere featuring antiques and artifacts from yesterday and today. Fresh steaks are cut to specification at your table and cooked on
Great local restaurants are unfortunately a dying breed so itâs just perfect when you come across one. The atmosphere is casual yet not too casual. You can have a romantic dinner here or a family meal. Dark inside, well decorated, relaxing music playing. All meals include the salad bar which is excellent. Alex the meat cutter describes the menu to you. Steaks are fresh, cooked to perfection and priced right. I would even say below market priced. Those reviews that say this restaurant is overpriced are absurd. Dinner for two with two steaks and salads and drinks was below $80. Much better food at a better price in a much better atmosphere than a roadhouse or an outback or even higher chain. Not even a question there. Service was flawless. I would eat here again tomorrow.

We just had dinner at this Long Horn. I had a salad, Filet Mignon and broccoli. Everything was very good, steak was cooked perfectly. My date had a bowl of chili, which he said was a bit too spicy, a chopped sirloin and loaded baked potato, which was good. We arrived early and was seated promptly and our service was great.

My wife and I were downtown and decided to eat here since the original place we picked was closed. In hindsight we should have kept walking. We were able to get a table in the bar right away. Our server was great and made sure that we didnt run out of drinks. My wife ordered the king prime rib and it was HORRIBLE!!!! It had no flavor and it the fat was not even melted. The best part of her meal was the baked sweet potato. I ordered the cowboy ribeye and it was just ok. It also didnt have that much flavor. It came with the house made fries which turned out to be more like round under cooked potato waffers. I had asked for them to be extra crispy but they were not even close. I am not a salad person but I have to say it was the best part of the meal. The meal was very $$$$ and not worht have of what we paid.We wont be going back.

as your waitress!!! No complaints on this experience. Her attentive service was impeccable. The food was so tasty. Upon arrival, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait...it turned into 10! Despite it being peak lunch hour, were quite impressed with the overall experience. A 5% military/veteran discount was given. Highly recommend!!!

Accidently stumbled upon this hidden gem, late one evening in seach of pizza (right next door, appeared closed). While this restaurant has a high-end feel, no one gawked at our khaki shorts and t-shirts. The steaks are flavored perfectly and grilled over charcoal. The she crab is rich and decadent. Lots of crab meat. The seafood pasta has amble amounts of crab, shrimp, and scallops. The onion rings are great. The loaded pimento cheese fries are great too.

We focus on providing the customer the food they want the way they want it in a full service dining experience. Every dish is prepared fresh so we can modify it however you prefer to modify it.
Despite a very large party in the restaurant (40 + people) service was prompt and efficient, the wait for food was not at all excessive. The menu is not huge but what is there is good. We both had chicken dishes, I had the breaded chicken on pasta in a great sauce. it was excellent, cooked to perfection. There is a nice selection of beers and overall I would say very good value for money.
