Cholla Prime Steakhouse & Lounge offers one of Scottsdale's best fine-dining experiences in an intimate, upscale environment. Our taste-tempting menu is prepared by some of Scottsdale's top chefs and features the best regional cuisine you'll find anywhere
Following reviews on TA we chose Cholla for our dinner-for-two anniversary celebration. Absolutely terrific! From the tasty treat of filet at the start we were treated to several other surprise treats during our meal--mini bacon- cornbread served in a mini iron skillet, raspberry sorbet for palette cleanser. The breads & pesto were delicious along side that cornbread! Beside the options on the regular menu there was a "December" special menu. From this menu my husband had the 10 oz strip, which came with a Caesar salad and two sides (he chose broccolini and au gratin potatoes). From the regular menu I chose the Full House--filet mignon (I didn't ask the size, but think 8 oz.--surely larger than expected .) & 3 LARGE shrimp, plus two side (garlic parmesan mashed potatoes & broccolini). Steaks were perfect! Service was timely, friendly, & professional; water glassed filled regularly, etc. We were offered any one of several desserts, complimentary for our anniversary! The Apple Galette was soooo good! Can't wait to go back!

even though weâve been to Mastroâs on Camelback this place has itâs own distinct flavour. The welcome was pleasant, as always in such a place, although I never understand why thereâs a 5 min wait when the table is ready. The service was mostly good but sometimes a hand needed to be raised for a minute or so to attention. Wine list is decent and food options quite classic. Intimate atmosphere and live music. Quite noisy but thatâs part of the scene in a place like this

Nice steakhouse. The night I was there it was a little warm in the restaurant, and the lighting was brighter than I like. It was an early crowd, the restaurant started to empty out before we left. Steak was good. Service was good. Decor was average. I would return.

What's not to like--a fantastic salad bar with just about anything one could want and refreshed often---artichokes, roast peppers, prepared salads, roast garlic, asparagus, sliced cold meats and cheeses, salmon and smoked trout, along with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, beets.... Then comes the unending line of expertly prepared and grilled meats (filets, sirloins, top and bottom round, lamb, pork tenderloin, chicken...) all perfectly seasoned and incredibly delicious. The sides are OK but you go for the meat!! The wine list is extensive and has something to meet everyones' taste and wallet. If you have room for dessert, you should have had more meat!! Go hungry because you are going to want eat 'til you can't consume another bite!!Service was friendly and attentive.

So disappointed. As a first time visitor Iâd heard about this restaurant and looked forward to a meal there. A group of us attended a presentation, hosted at this restaurant. We were served tuna as an appetizer, plus lackluster bread and insipid whipped butter. Drink orders were taken and then dinner orders; I ordered salmon. An hour later, the presenter informed us that the wait staff was adamant that their (precious) pens were to be returned. Who knew that Bic pens were so popular? Finally, salad was served. It was large by Arizona standards, but rather uninspired. I had to ask three times for a drink refill. Everyone who ordered steak (this is after all a steak house) got their meal. Where was the salmon I ordered? They hadnât cooked it. I was told it would take 12-14 minutes to cook. So I waited, waited. Everyone was asking for to-go boxes and my plate had just arrived, all 500 degrees of it. But where was my steak knife? I did try the mashed potatoes: they tasted boxed. I didnât dare try the creamed spinach. On a happier note, the salmon filet was generous, if somewhat heavily seasoned, served on a bed of raw spinach with a lemon wedge. The dessert, cheesecake, was sadly unremarkable. The wait between courses was excessive. Have they never served a group of 20 before? For what each meal here cost, this is unacceptable, and is clearly indicative of poor management. We are sorry you are disappointed with your experience. Please rest assured that in this Ruth's Chris, as well as all others, our intention is to provide the highest and finest quality with regard to both food and service, not to mention hospitality - much like Ruth would have done herself. Please email us directly at [email protected] with your contact information, including a phone number, so that we can further address your concerns. We hope you will give us another chance to make this right. Thank you!

I tried this place because of restaurant week and will go back for sure! The Four Seasons reputation did not disappoint. From beginning to end we had an incredible time. We sat on the patio that had amazing views. Service was so excellent and everything was perfectly timed. The presentation of the food was like what you see on TV and everything we tried was delicious!!!!We also got to talk to the manager Anthony Papa who actually brought us our desserts. We were just locals trying restaurant week and were treated like VIPâs.The regular menu prices are very fair for this type of resort and I will be back for sure!!!! It is not just dinner but an experience.

We travel to Scottsdale frequently and always plan a dinner at Mastroâs City Hall. The wait staff is exceptional as well as the food. The menu offers you seafood, steaks and many main course choices. Our steaks were perfectly prepared and the beef has an incredible taste. We all committed that the size and quality of the steaks exceeded the taste and tenderness of the upscale national steakhouse restaurants. You must save room for their signature warm butter cake.

Elegant fine dining, with exceptional personal service and a menu featuring prime steaks, fresh seafood, classic Italian specialty items, as well as an extensive wine selection. Right here in Scottsdale, resembling a Midtown Manhattan classic upscale New
Our first time at Dominick's and we were totally delighted with absolutely everything. First, nice table, not on top of everyone else - very spread out. Lovely. Second, our server, Jonathan, was simply the best. Attentive service, helpful, always there but not in your face - our wine glasses seemed to be topped up as if by magic. Thank you Jonathan! The wine list was amazing - now this is an area I do know, but the choice was exceptional and the wine, albeit one I chose, was fabulous - Frank Family Estates 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon. Now the food - that was simply stunning! Beautifully presented and super tasty! We both had a filet mignon medium rare which was cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth! The Crispy Hasselback potato was a star in itself and the sautéed spinach completed an exceptional meal. Or so we thought...we were both celebrating birthdays and received complimentary desserts which were out of this world. Mine was the ultimate warm vanilla caramel cake, which was just yummy; my husband had the very chocolate cake with cherry compote. Both were amazing. Everything was amazing! Can't rate this place highly enough. Thank you all.

We were seated right away without a reservation on a Friday afternoon. We asked for suggestions. The âstoli doliâ was the popular drink and it was fabulous. vodka and pineapple juice does not describe it properly. We started with the calamari. I hesitated because sometime calamari is chewy unless it is from a steak. It was tender and very tasty. Best I ever had. I had the lobster crab cake and hubbie had Tuna. Both were delicious. We had the greatest service. We were served a drink and dessert because it was our first time. They also gave us a professional type photo because it was our anniversary. Top of our list for Scottsdaleâs restaurants as of now.

We traveled back to Arizona in September, and celebrated another anniversary here.Steak 44 is truly in a class of it's own, this is a restaurant that makes you feel like you are somewhere special from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is elegant, but not stuffy. The food quality and preparation are both superb, and definitely one of the best steaks we have ever had. The shrimp they offer as appetizers are fantastic. They are seriously colossal and quite tasty, as are the accompaniments that they serve them with. You do get what you pay for, and this is a wonderful place to celebrate a very special night out.
