Beautiful location overseeing the vineyard. Large room and good service. Unfortunately in our visit the food was average. We went for the degustación menu. First thing that surprised us was that the menu price is not inclusive: wine on the side, many mains and desserts come at an extra price. When the waiter comes, he goes over the different prices in the menu rather than talking about the food itself. We were five, we got 4 starters to share, nothing special and a main each, again nothing special. Desserts were well presented although my mint icecream was a decrepit ball. My family has been here before and they all agreed that this was the worst of their visit in terms of food.

Having driven from Santander we had arranged to meet friends at this small back street restaurant. We arrived a little late. They weren't there. Perplexed. Then text message suggesting that they were but that it was closed. Even more perplexed. We were there, they weren't and it was definitely open. Turns out they'd gone to the old premises, closed three years ago! When eventually they turned up we had the bigger of the two fixed menus. 5 starters and two mains to share. It's meat, meat, meat, all the way. And it's very good meat. Steak and ribs, served Argentinian medium, bloody rare to the rest of the world, but with a very hot iron grill plate so you could singe it a bit more if required. Very good, inky black Malbec wine. 10/10
