Resting on stilts atop San Diego Bay overlooking the city skyline and Coronado, thereâs nowhere better than Island Prime & C Level to experience quintessential San Diego.
While waiting to take our flight home, we found this neat spot. Our lunch was so good and the view perfect. I especially enjoyed the Thai Bowl with a glass of white wine. The waitress was very friendly and full of energy. All around excellent experience. Island Prime will be our 1st stop next time.

The name may conjure up a backyard barbecue but this would be far from reality. This is one of the finest chop house restaurants in the city if not the state. The service is terrific. The wait staff is appears to be intuitive. The food without fault. There have been other steak houses in San Diego and for the most part have been adequate (excepting the old Donovan's in UTC). The parking is a bit of problem but after 8 there is a parking lot right across the street.but before that only street parking. A valet would be nice.

Fleming's San Diego, CA is an ongoing celebration of exceptional steak and wine. We are located in Downtown SD in the Gaslamp District off Harbor Drive, next to Seaport Village and San Diego Bay.
Overall an excellent restaurant. Not too stuffy, not too casual, not too loud. Great food. Great service. As usual Iâll rate things I tried 1-10 scale, but everything was excellent except for the Caesar salad which was rather tasteless and dry. Crab Cakes 9.0, Caesar 5.5, Flemingâs potatoes 9.5, Asparagus 8.0, Bone In Filet 8.5 cooked perfectly, Bernaise sauce 7.5, Diablo Shrimp topping 8.0, Lava Cake 9.0, Old Fashion drink 8.0. It was quite expensive though. Would highly recommend if price not prohibitive.

This 21 & Up âgrill-your-ownâ steak lounge is located at the âfootâ of San Diegoâs Historic Gaslamp Quarter. This is a friendly, casual alternative to expensive, stuffy steak houses.
Found this place on TripAdvisor and what a find.5th Ave middle of Gaslamp, not far from harbour & ball park.Ok, you cook it, but superb beef, salad and garlic bread to accompany is quality. One side is plenty, wine list extensive bus not crazy prices. 100% recommend.
