The Little Rhein Steak House is housed in the Bombach House in historic La Villita. The Coahuiltecan Indians founded a settlement here in the 1500s, and in the early 18th century Spanish soldiers and Canary Islanders established a village on the site. The
My husband and I loved the food here! Everything we tried was amazing and delicious! Bacon wrapped quail appetizer was fantastic! The filet steak and my chicken and mushroom dish were some of the best entrees we've had! I only wish we could have substituted another veggie for the potato option. The berry cobbler dessert was absolutely delicious! Our service was outstanding! Our waiter was friendly, helpful and engaging and made our experience an even better one!

Food was good, but drink service was extremely slow. It was my wife's birthday and they told her she was getting a birthday dessert so she order an espresso. The espresso came, but the dessert never did. Not the way to treat customers.

We were recommended this small bistro from our hotel concierge, and it was a phenomenal experience. The arepas and tequeno appetizers were tasty and just the right portion size. I had a great filet and my date loved, loved, LOVED the Red Snapper entree. They have a small but varied wine list, and great service. The owner stopped by a few times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, and, the entire experience was a solid a+. It can get a bit cold in there, but other than that, the decor, food and service were top notch.

This is s classic steak house that does what it does best. The salads are gargantuan and decent; however, the star attraction is the meat. I had grilled pork chop with a bourbon glaze and blueberry sauce which was outstanding! The meat was tender and the sauce was beautifully made and executed with spices such as pepper and rosemary. The helping was extremely generous. I finished off the meal with fresh berries which cleansed the palate beautifully. From the individuals I spoke with who had the steak they all uniformly said that that it was outstanding even by Texas standards which is saying a lot. Highly recommended!

a. Texas de Brazil, is a Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, that features endless servings of ï¬ame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as well as an extravagant salad area with a wide array of seasonal chef-crafted items.
We had dinner here while visiting friends in San Antonio. First we were impressed by the quality of the buffet offerings. Lots of salads and delicious sides. But we were warned not to overdo the buffet because the meat was the star. After returning to our table the waiters started bringing swords holding large cuts of all kinds of meat â lamb, beef filet, chicken, sausage, steak, pork â it just never ended. The waiter would slice off however much you wanted. And each meat was grilled to perfection! This definitely is a place for carnivores. Canât wait to try this again.

As big fans and regulars of their affiliated restaurant Chama Gaucha we really expected to love this place. Unfortunately, we were surprised by mediocre steak not cooked as requested, escargot that lacked in flavor, just ok side dishes and slow service. Given our exceptional experience with Chama Gaucha and $500 price tag for this family dinner we were very disappointed.
