We had a fantastic meal on Tuesday, October 8th. Our server was fantastic, I think her name was Jennifer, we were seated in the room in the front of the restaurant. She definitely was a well trained server from suggesting drinks, appetizers and entree. We started with the crab cakes and potato skins. Very good. 3 of us had salads my husband had the steak and potato soup. 2 had filets cooked perfect and the other two had prime rib. Prime rib was cooked perfect. Of course we had the brownie sundae, definitely enough for all four of us. Being in the restaurant business this was a great experience!

Looks like someone needs to speak up about this place. First off, bathrooms had sticky floors. Tables were sticky...my food order consisted of a bowl of salty soy sauce infused broth. I can only imagine what went into prepping this. I have truly never seen a restaurant serve something this bad...oh, all bowls came with two mushroom slices...fried rice was served separately from all other items. The salad that came with the meal was a bowl of lettuce...nothing else was in the bowl. The dressing had absolutely no flavor. Next, burned vegetables were served. Then, some sugary flavored noodle. Two bowls of some condiment were placed in front of each diner. One was a terrible ginger, sugar sauce and the other was some kind of sugary mayonnaise. I am not sure why that was served at all. No one knew what to do with these condiments as they did not go with anything we ate, especially since the noodles were sugary sweet already. Lastly, we were served chicken and salmon..Each one was cooked in a sickeningly sweet teriaki, sugar glaze. The dinner plate was full of items that all tasted the same. I really had a hard time eating this food. This was not inexpensive for what they served. In fact, it was probably the very worst restaurant I have eaten at in many years. I do believe that it is also probably time for the board of health to check this place out.
My understanding is that this location is strictly a takeout location - don't know if that is true or not. We ordered food for the family (4 adults and two toddlers) and it was delivered on time, but incomplete (missing the blooming onion). We called the restaurant and within ten minutes they had delivered the completion of the order. So, is that good service or bad service quickly corrected?Bill was for $127 before tip (no steaks, no alcohol) - does that seem reasonable to you? It seemed high to me. (Coconut shrimp, half of ribs, full of ribs, one fettucini, two salads and a side of broccoli, kids burger and kids chicken tenders.)Food was okay and service was prompt.

I have to say that my last few visits to Longhorn have been disappointing. This visit was a lunchtime gathering of friends who love Longhorn. My husband ordered the lunch special of salad and chicken sandwich. The salad was normal size but the chicken âsandwichâ was really a chicken slider, a very tiny sandwich. I donât remember the name of my chicken dish but it was topped with artichokes. It was tasty but it was also tiny, only a half of a small chicken breast with a small scoop of rice pilaf. We both went home hungry. I have to say our server was attentive and friendly. She didnât rush us so we had time to catch up. Luckily, we went at 2pm and the restaurant was not busy.

Excellent service, food and prices! While short in ambience, the quality of the food is 5 stars with very reasonable prices. Plan on waiting depending on your arrival time! It's rather small but the best biscuits and gravy and homemade cooking you can find. Comfort food at its best.

Today is Wednesday. The special was a 10 oz. Sirloin steak and 2 sides for $10.99. We ordered salads as one of our sides and the salads were good. Baked potatoes were also good. The string beans had a liquid smoke flavor and are definitely not a taste that everyone would enjoy. We had ordered it for a child, who would not eat it. The steaks were nice and plump but definitely not done, the way they were suppose to be. The medium rare was more rare, than it should have been. It was red inside, all the way through. The well done was pink inside, again was ordered for a child who could not eat it. We could not find the waitress to tell early on when the meals first came and a manager never came by the table to see if everything was ok. By the time we saw her, we were finishing our meal. She offered to take it back to the kitchen but it was to late at that point. The waitress was very attentive with the rolls, butter and drinks. She was extremely busy. This location in Riverview is extremely busy. I think they need more kitchen help to make sure the steaks are done correctly. I will be awhile before we go back again.
