Reviews on Steakhouse food in Redding, California, United States. There's a variety of water sports in Redding, from whitewater rafting on the Sacramento River to waterskiing, swimming, fishing and sailing on Shasta Lake, one of four magnificent manmade lakes in this northeastern California town. When you're ready to dry off, there are also plenty of land-based activities, like camping or hiking in the national forests and parks, following walking trails through the 220-acre arboretum or spending time exploring two fascinating parks: Shasta State Historic Park and Turtle Bay Exploration Park. At Shasta State, you'll find the ghost town of Shasta City from the Gold Rush days, complete with restored stagecoach, barn and courthouse, with eerie reminders of where prisoners were kept and sometimes hanged. The ever-expanding 300-acre Turtle Bay Park houses the recently opened Turtle Bay Museum, with extraordinary hands-on exhibits focusing on the environment and an outstanding collection of American Indian baskets. The kids will love the park's Paul Bunyan's Forest Camp, which includes a playground, logging and ecology exhibits and the popular summer butterfly house, where the fragile winged creatures flit about and alight on welcoming visitors.

We had a very nice dinner. Didn't have to wait for a table. Service was friendly and prompt. The entrees overall didn't have quite as much food as you normally get at a full service restaurant, but it was enough and everything was delicious!

The wife and I went for breakfast on a Tuesday morning, the place didn't look like much on the outside, but when you walk in its like being at your best friends. The deco is outstanding from the moving train, to the pictures, to the music. The food is outstanding and comes in a very large amount (there is no way to walk away hungry, almost everyone I saw to a to go bag) Staff was great.

Rather disappointed when a friend and I decided it was time to try Market Street Steakhouse. I had heard how great the steaks were, but my Kobe Beef Cheeseburger sliders were extremely dry and too well done, especially when I requested the burgers to be on the rare side. Beer battered onion rings were okay, but nothing to rave about. My friend had the shrimp taco special, while she said the flavors were go, she did say that she would not order them again. She did struggle to eat them by hand as the shrimp were quite large, and ended up using knife and fork. Extremely disappointed in the very limited wine list, only six whites by the glass, only red by the glass was a house selection. My friend and I decided we will not go back again.

We were looking for anearly dinner close to our hotel. Checked several in the immediate area and selected Logans because of there early dinner menu. Surprise, no one had any idea what we were talking about. I was told if I could show them on there website, they would horer the menu. I did and they did, however they did not have the selections mentioned and had to substitute. The server tried. I would not go back.Tom, we're sorry for any confusion. We'd like to look into this. Please give us a call at 1-844-6LOGANS so that we can follow up with you.

A classic Redding restaurant. Good steaks. Long lines. Poor atmosphere. It's a place that you should experience at least once.

Having visited Cattleman's twice when we were in Redding a year ago, since deciding to return in 2019 we have been looking forward to visiting Cattleman's on this visit. So, how was it? Well, I have to confess better than ever!My wife repeat-ordered the Steak and Shrimp Scampi, whilst I went for the Rustler Rib Eye on this occasion - delightful all round! The steak was sweet to the palate, cut like salmon, and tasted of the stuff of dreams!!I know of no other place which has steak like this place!
