The decor and menu are a bit dated, but that's totally OK. Places like this are hard to find and deserve to be preserved. The meat loaf was quite tasty and the garlic mashed potatoes were better than at most upscale restaurants. If you want a hot meal, this is the place to go.

Fridays are cook your own steak at the Legion. For a very reasonable price your are presented with a terrific steak and shown to the grill. You cook it the way you like it and add salad and a baked potato. If you are a dunce at the grill, there is always someone around to assist you. Great meal and a lot of fun.
Pincher Creek Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Pincher Creek
My wife and I came in as we had a bit of time to kill waiting for our daughter's team bus to return to town, so we popped in to see the newest restaurant in town. General's Quarters is styled as a Rocky Mountain themed pub / eatery decorated with 'charasmatic megafauna' taxidermy (including a huge bear, massive moose, and many others) as well as a wood burning fireplace, several TV's, cozy high and low seating options, and an inviting bar. Background music was present but not overpowering - we could hear each other speak, which is greatly appreaciated. Staff were all engaging and friendly. We only ordered an appetizer - the salt and pepper wings paired with a local fave microbrew (Oldman Brewing Company's excellent St. Joe's Abbey Style Brown Ale). The wings were breaded, not greasy, and tasty. Looking forward to returning for a more 'General' meal, as the menu suggested some tasty possibilities. Should also mention there are many drink options on the menu as well. General's Quarters was generally great!
