I had dinner with my fellow business travelers early this month, since our local host said that they specialize in the "Rubia Gallega" beef of the region. We were quite thrilled when we sat down and saw the menu, and soon decided to center our meal around a couple of very thick-cut t-bones and french fries, along with a few starters. Our server presented the freshly butchered steaks, and after we excitedly approved, disappeared into the kitchen. About 10-15 minutes later the steaks were served, but with an interactive process involved. The kitchen sears the steaks, but we had a table-top hot plate set at the center of our table in order to finish the sliced pieces to our liking. Our local host told us that the trick is to cut off a few pieces of fat and use them to "season" the flattop and then finish the slices of sirloin and tenderloin to your desired temperatures. So good! The french-fried potatoes were key to pair with the meat, and we had a little bit of salad to go with...which apparently set us apart from the locals (haha).
I had the most delicious sandwich of local cheese and fried green peppers, and a lovely cold beer on a very hot day. What was strange was that I was told Iâd have to eat it inside in the restaurant area, despite the fact that my friend (who wasnât eating) and I were sitting on the terrace at a table. This didnât make any sense, but I suppose they have their reasons. I would suggest you donât go all the way down to this beach in the middle of a summerâs day. Itâs too hot and there is really no shade, apart in the bar/restaurant. Stunning place though!

Great place for barbecue lovers as there is a wide range of types of meat. The speciality of the place is called "picaña", which I had. This course is formed of 7 different types of meat, from which you can repeat if you want more. There is also a wide rande of starters and deserts, I personally recomend the croquets or octopus as starter and the cheese cake or the mango ice-cream for puding. The region is well known by its wineries and the waiter recommended us with a delicious "MencÃa", red wine, which went down with the picaña extremely well. The place is suitable to dinne in or out and very well looked after. Great atmosfere and welcoming service. A must repeat.

They have a simple but good menu. Meat was very good cooked and it was very soft amd tasty. The space was large and waitresses were very attentive.

I have been to Casa Antonio several times with friends. The food is superb. The service is great; there are 2 young ladies attending clients with great warmth. Maria makes delicious food and always have time to smile with the clients. You should definitely try the Flan de café, it is devilishly good. The price of meals are very good.
