Had a great time there. The teppanyaki chef did a great job. Food was cooked in front of us and placed in a beautiful way. Everything was delicious esp the wagyu beef. Staff spoke limited english but they tried their best to serve us.

Found this place just across the bridge from the cinema complex next to the Biwako Hotel. It's in a renovated old building on the other side of the Keihan railway. The menu had a lot of Omi beef options at a reasonable cost and 1 of the waitresses spoke English and tried very hard to explain everything. The wine was good and the place had a warm atmosphere.Would go again if I wanted to eat Omi beef.

Down stair is a butcher store and the restaurant is owned by the store. Therefore you can taste a fresh and high quality Ohmi beef at reasonable price. Must try the Ohmi beef shabushabu.

Wife and I had dinner at the upstairs 2F a few years ago. We brought a bottle of expensive French wine and enjoyed a sirloin and filet mignon steak along with the other teppanyaki offerings. Not cheap, but if you want to try top-grade Ohmi beef, you can't get it any fresher.
