Although parking spaces might be limited this is still a great place to enjoy a delicious, tender steak meal. Staff are friendly, polite and efficient even though limited English is spoken. Orders arrive promptly if, you arrive before the place gets packed with customers. Because the food is of excellent quality and reasonably priced, many locals take families here. A favorite restaurant of mine, which will be visited again and again.

We've seen this restaurant for many years and finally stopped in one day and now we're wondering why we hadn't been here sooner, like years ago. A pretty simple menu and the meals come with soup and salad, rice or bread, fried potatos and fried onions. The prices are fair for what you get and we'll be stopping in again in the future, was well worth the trip.

This teppenyaki restaurant situated in one of Okinawa's finest hotels is a great place to dine if you wish to taste Okinawa beef on the island in an upscale restaurant. Note that Okinawa island has plenty of teppenyaki restaurants catering to US military soldiers. All use American beef which can be bought at any local grocery store for less than $10 for the portion you'll be served. This fine restaurant caters to Japanese tourists. Your chef will not dance around like a samurai while preparing the various Japanese courses that are served prior and following the fine Okinawa beef. The restaurant is small so reserve ahead of time. Wine: There is a very limited wine list. I inquired with the hotel front desk regarding bringing my own bottle and was told that it was hotel policy that customers purchase wine from the restaurant. Never to be deterred and knowing something about Japanese culture I visited the restaurant an hour ahead of my reservation and asked to see the wine list. I then politely expressed my disappointment at the list and asked if I could bring my own bottle that I had bought in Naha (There is a nice wine shop in Naha). The restaurant manager asked if a corkage fee of 3,000 yen ($36) was acceptable and I agreed.March 2012

A tropical country resort style cafe where you can forget about your daily life and enjoy healthy food made with domestic Japanese beef and fruits. The view of the sunset is so wonderful that you can forget the flow of time while sitting on a spacious sof
I had the pleasure of eating at this cafe for the first time today. It's now on the top of my list of places to eat in the Chatan/American village area. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were gracious and accommodating. The service was quick and issues with my order. I had one of the lunch specials plus the smoked salmon. For the price, the portions were generous. Planning to go back as soon as possible. Highly recommended for a pleasant brunch or lunch.

Enjoy some of the best steaks on island for dinner at Taiyo Steakhouse in Uruma City. Located on the second floor of the courseâs clubhouse, Taiyo Steakhouse offers some of the most premium cuts of beef as well as gourmet offerings for every special occas
Probably the only place as expensive as Sam's for dinner. Lunch though, best burger on the island, hands down. Build your own with American bacon and sirloin burger only $9. Japanese theme in a golf course club house so predictable but well worth the expense at lunch. Highly recommend.J_w_a traveler,Thank you so much for this excellent review. I am glad our facility could meet your needs and we do take pride in our food here at Taiyo so I am glad it met your expectations. Thank you so much!

Visited Four Seasons on a business trip and enjoyed the experience. Simple table side steak house cooking of some great cuts of meat. For my meal, I enjoyed the Waygu tenderloin with a side of the pork. The meal was great with a nice salad and chowder soup added to the meat. Staff was great even though with the language barrier. Will admit that this was the most expensive meal on my trip, but very reasonably priced considering the quality and taste of the beef and pork.Definitely an option if you visit the American Village in Chatan.

Have been coming to this restaurant for a little close to three years now, with regular visits at least every other weekend morning. It's an absolutely great place to have breakfast and it's surprising to hear when others don't enjoy it that much (experiences always vary). The coffee isn't bad at all, food is always well-cooked when we're there, and the staff is always willing to help whenever we ask for it. The location is very small but the wait time (especially near 11:00am and later on a Saturday) is usually around 20-30 minutes. If you go earlier, the wait times are less than that. There's sufficient parking in the front and around the corner about a five minute walk from the restaurant. There's an employee who directs cars for parking. Overall, great place, will visit for many times more.

The Nakagusuku bay can be viewed from windows of the restaurant. We offer many charbroiled Steaks and fresh seafood.
Had a group of friends together for dinner at Samâs. Always a delightful experience as the staff recognizes return customers with terrific customer service. The service was spot on with the signature curry soup leading the way to the salad and entree of Lobster with a crustacean sauce that is delicious. The manager added a nice finish by comping desserts for the table. Great food for a reasonable price so highly recommend Samâs by the Sea to people visiting Okinawa.

This visit was absolutely by chance! Instead of going to the beach - heavy rain came across - we stopped near the restaurant and said to ourselves: why not?! So the restaurant itself is a colorful place full of different devotionals. Nevertheless, the dinner was fantastic.A BBQ in front of your place, delicious and extraordinary. The service was fantastic. So: go there and have Fun!
