Visited with friends and we all really enjoyed shellfish starters. Steak was great quality, had better but would definitely eat here again as very good value. Itâs very telling that restaurant is booked up several days in advance even at end of September. House special tonight are pears in Cointreau with vanilla ice cream. Very tasty! Lovely owner that recommended lovely red with our steak and great bandy with the pears dessert. Will be back next month! A must visit if you are in Lagos.

Stopped here with a group of six and as they were busy, spoke with the owner and returned 30 minutes later to have a table sorted.The âcustomer friendliness â was as good as the service and the food!Having order lots of tapas and extras we were not disappointed and having been to Alvor several times prior we have never come across the restaurant being it is slightly off the main walking areas!But when we do return next year due to the hospitality of the owner, the staff and the food we will go back again!!Itâs worth looking out for this â little gemâ to enjoy while in the beautiful AlvorDonât say you havenât been told..

Went here on recommendation of rep at hotel and the food was excellent. Beautiful modern clean restaurant over 3floors. All four of us had steak, each was cooked perfectly as requested, even the well done. There is a good wait from ordering to receiving food, (quite common in Portugal) but certainly well worth the wait. We also had a couple of bottles of wine, very tasty and reasonably priced. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful. Portions were good, Jacket potatoes enormous and chips tasty. In fact we went again as we were so impressed first time. We booked online the second time, and requested a window seat on first floor, which was all done. I honestly canât recommend this place enough and when we return to Alvor, we will definitely be returning here.

We hadn't booked and the restaurant was fully booked inside, but a family kindly indicated they would be leaving soon so the staff were happy for us to have a drink near the bar while we waited for the table.The goats cheese and fig in filo pastry was stunning, the best starter I've ever had! For mains three of us had various burgers which were really tasty and our 14 year old had his first hot stone steak. It was a perfect cut of meat and he ate every bite. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because we had to keep going to the bar for more drinks. This wouldn't normally bother us but it doesn't seem to be the done thing in Lagos, and bar staff in restaurants clearly prefer to only have the orders in from the waiting staff, and not directly from customers.Other than that would definitely recommend.
