It was all about a salad of lettuce with vinegar for 9 pln. The salad was forgotten by the service and arrived only upon reminder. As its taste did not come to my liking, I have questioned whether it should be inluded in the bill when it arrived. The waiter, very professionally and kindly offered to sign it off from the bill. I was about to leave, but the restaurant manager had different opinion about my taste and its ability to trully appreciate this salad, so he immediately summoned the cook and confronted him with me.It was the first time in my life that someone was examining me about the ingredients of the salate (letuce with vinegar) in front of all the restaurant guests that seemed not to be happy about neing part of this conversation. I felt horrible myself and sorry about the cook, who I was pushed to be confront about my taste in front of everyone.The romantic evening was ruined for the price of 9 Pln.

Our hotel / restaurant is situated in picturesque historical area - Babicka valley near chateau Ratiborice We focus on cooking czech specialities and tasty steaks :)
On our way to "Grandma's Valley" we got hungry. No wonder.. it was about lunchtime. In the middle of nowhere we accidentally encountered this goodlooking cozy enterprise and ordered our lunch. I was absolutely satisfied about how the meal is greatly flavoured. The waiter (young boy) was so helpful and when asking for direction to the Valley came owner herself and told us very kindly where to go, what to avoid etc. Good people here. God bless them.
