Booked a table and arrived at appointed time. I stood in front of the reception desk where two employees were, said hello and got no response at all. They then proceeded to spend more than a minute looking at the computer screen without acknowledging me at all. Unacceptable at every level.Unable to comment on the food as I left but the most basic requirement of any restaurant is to welcome guests with a smile, if you are busy with something else a simple statement that â I will be with you in just a momentâ will suffice.Dear grwpl,we are really sorry for the inconvenience! Please be sure that this is not at all our standard we want to achieve in El Gaucho. I was thrilled to discover that this restaurant serves zebra steaks. It was delicious and I can't recommend it strongly enough. They also have other meats, including steaks sourced from Africa, and Ostrich, and crocodile, as well as a really delicious fish called kingklip. Everything was delicious and I would recommend it to anyone looking to try a bunch of new meats. It is not cheap though, so it is probably best for special occasions.

We visited this restaurant in Dec. 2018 and were so happy that we did. The food was simply outstanding and the service was excellent - all with reasonable prices. The restaurant offers a small, intimate dining room, which is great for special occasions. The staff made us feel very welcome and we would definitely go back again.

Staff was friendly and went above and beyond to assist. Menuâs available in english, spanish, french. Very large selection of whiskey. Ate the picanha with truffle mashed potatoes. Very good flavor and good size portion. The meat gets carved right in front of you. Great place 5 minutes walking from Marienplatz.

The location is at the end of the well known LeopoldstraÃe in the Schwabing area of Munich.I was there for a Sunday brunch with family.Good variety and quality of food, salty and sweet.Nice people and good service.
