Our family entourage of 10 have an enjoyable dinner at Steak Ministry one Tuesday night in June after spending the whole day exploring Yarra Valley. We ordered the Tomahawk and it was meticulously done to our satisfaction! Kudos to the chefs! Although pricey, we enjoyed our meal. Will definitely patronise again!

Came for lunch with some work colleagues and got totally ignored by multiple staff. Those taking our lunch orders were too busy having a conversation with their colleagues to pay attention to our lunch orders. Which is why they stuffed up at least 6 of 13 meals!Also the outdoor tables have those bench seats so when someone on one end gets up the person on the other end either looses their drink or as happened to me ends up falling on the ground. I twisted my knee and another colleague twisted an ankle both within 10 minutes of each other. Also on both occasions staff of the place witnessed the incidents but no one at any stage came to ask if we were ok!

Had the meat platter which was pretty good but seriously the waiting staff are either poorly trained or just lazy. We were a party of 6 and each time a round of drinks were brought to the table, the waiter insisted on handing the drinks to the guest at the end of the table and expecting us to pass the drinks along from person to person because they could not be bothered walking around and placing drinks in front of the diner. Very poor form. Would not go back when staff have such a poor attitude to customer service.Dear 822ronp, Thank you for choosing to dine at The Butchers Bench. I do apologize though for the service experience you encountered that evening. This is definitely not the norm, to which i have already followed this up with our service team. I really appreciate your feedback, as this is a situation which has enabled us to address and rectify the matter. We hope we can welcome you again at our restaurant, as i am positively sure that this matter will not arise again.
