Decided to try something new for our anniversary and were not disappointed. The decor is tasteful and fun but not stuffy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. As in all the other reviews, the owner came by to check up on us. Food was amazing. Started with seared Ahi tuna and escargot - both excellent. Splurged on the Wago tenderloin and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. my wife had the Ontario tenderloin which was also excellent. For those who are tired of the same old, Keg...etc I highly recommend this restaurant.

Near the Toronto Airport (Pearson).
Great meal after a week long vacation at an all inclusive resort. We were eager to enjoy a reliably great dinner and of course the Keg never disappoints! Our server was so friendly and attentive too. This location seems to be in need of a makeover. Itâs not as nice as most locations, but that didnât hinder our experience.

We visited many years ago and just forgot about this resto. The food is very good, portions were on the larger side which was fine - we like to have leftovers for lunch. Staff was pleasant and our table was ready immediately.

Went for my mother in-laws 90th birthday. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. The food was amazing! There garlic bread is amazing! I had the sirloin Oscar and it was phenomenal. Steak was cooked to perfection. I donât understand the veg though. They give you four green beans and two pieces of red pepper. I like to have more veg than that. The billy miner coffee was delicious! Everyone in our party had amazing meal! Love this place

We went there for a special occasion as a family. The decor inside is very outdated- perhaps that's what they're going for. We had rib eye and filet mignon. The fillet mignon was best. We had mushrooms as a starter and asked them to add garlic and they obliged. I didn't care too much for the buttered bread they gave in the beginning. I'd rather higher quality bread and less of it, than the bread they offered. We loved the service of the taller gentlemen. He made sure we were taken care of so well. He was so thoughtful by putting our bagged food at the side on a side table while we ate. We asked for food to be bagged after each course because we wanted to save space for the mains. I don't know what happened but all of a sudden we get this shorter man with glasses and he's rushing us. We ask him to bag some food and unlike the taller gentleman he asks us if we want to do it ourselves... ummm no... you do it. Then he brings back the bags and plops them on the tables. I asked him to put it on the side with the other bags as the other taller gentleman had done so thoughtfully. Then when it was time for dessert he places dessert spoons by plopping them down infront of us. Finally, when the bill came, he put it on the table without figuring out who to give it to and pulls out the credit card machine without giving us a chance to even look at the bill. I had to say "Give us a moment please." Zorro's really needs to retrain this older gentleman with glasses because he will drive customers away. We came on Friday, May 31st. They really are lucky to have the taller gentleman, otherwise we wouldn't have tipped 15% that night (on a $400 bill).

Let me start with what disturbed me from the beginning before even eating their food. Their washroom had only cold water. I realize there are those that do not care about that, as some people do not wash their hands after going to the washroom, but I do care about that. Now on to the food. We went there to celebrate someone's birthday and travelled quite a distance to go there. What a mistake. I normally love garlic bread but theirs was just alright. The onion soup was one of the worst a few of us said they had ever eaten. The salad was drenched in the blue cheese dressing I had. 2 of us ordered the bigger size prime rib to have dinner for a second night. Each was a huge piece of meat that unfortunately lacked the juiciness and great taste we experienced elsewhere. Then the part that really angered me. I left over the asparagus and red pepper to have the next day with my leftover prime rib and fries. The waiter took our plates and when I opened the container the next day, the asparagus and red pepper I saved were NOT there. How can someone mess up transferring food from a plate to a container to take home? One person had the dover sole. She was asked if she wanted the bones removed. They took the large piece of fish and came back with practically nothing. Our guess is that instead of going through the work of removing the bones, they instead went the lazy route and chopped off any part that could have bone. It was $52 for a dismal small piece of fish. The virgin strawberry daiquiri tasted like strawberry juice not real strawberries mixed in a blender. Also worst we ever had. We did NOT risk having a dessert. All 4 in my party felt the food was inferior to other restaurants and obviously we will not be going back there again.UPDATE: I contacted them about throwing out the asparagus and red pepper and they said they would reimburse me. Faye, someone I was led to believe was a manager, said about refunding me the price of those items. I felt that as I had only a few fries left to eat with my 2nd dinner even though I had purposely saved my asparagus and red pepper, they were being cheap and unfair. They said they would decide what to give me and get back to me the next day.  They did NOT contact me back the next day. Today, on a $350 bill paid, they reimbursed $5. That is not a typo. I couldn't believe how disgusting they are. They gave back LESS than the cost of asparagus and red pepper and nothing for ruining my 2nd dinner. It is not their fault I wanted it for 2 meals. That is why I ate NO asparagus or red pepper night 1 so I could have them with the 2nd meal, since the first night I had the soup and salad. It IS their fault they threw out what they did and reimbursing me $5 is truly unbelievable.  In summary, the food is barely ok and definitely worse than other places at their price point. Their customer service is below par, lying about even reimbursing the cost of what they threw out. They can't be trusted to put your leftovers in a container, which is amazing to me. Stay away from this lousy establishment. We wish we had.

Service was good, as were menu choices. Wine selection was great. I was a little disappointed in my steak, which was overcooked, but everything else was delicious (truffled scalloped potatoes, asparagus, wedge salad). We were staying in the area and chose Fired Up due to proximity to our hotel as it's great reviews. We were not disappointed, this restaurant is all around excellent. The food was absolutely delicious with good sized portions. Our server recommended an appetizer that was incredible and we each enjoyed our entrees very much. For those who enjoy a cocktail, we found ours to be stronger than we would expect, but that's not a complaint. The atmosphere is nice, a little rustic and high end all at once. What a great spot, so glad we found it and can't wait for another chance to go back.Thank you for the 5 Star Review. We cant wait to have you back. We are thrilled that you had Great Service, Great Food and Great Ambiance.
