I finally got into this fine establishment. I made reservations a month ago and we were all looking forward to dine here. The menu has so many wonderful choices. I had the petite filet and lobster tail, my husband had the ribeye, the other couple had walleye and a NY strip with scallops. The portions were very generous. The salad and soup option was nice and my favorite side of garlic mashed potatoes were offered. Madison was our server and she met all of our needs. Porterhouse is fantastic and we will be back soon.

We went to Outback tonight for one reason: Prime Rib. I called ahead to get on the list and we were seated promptly upon arrival. We ordered beverages and an appetizer. I love the Bloomin' Onion Bits. Then we ordered dinner. To my shock and amazement, they were out of prime rib at 6:30 on a Friday night. Our server told us we needed to arrive by 5 to get prime rib as they frequently run out. My husband, being more flexible than I am, ordered ribs and thought they were OK. I could not find anything else on the menu that appealed to me so I ordered a bowl of soup. I asked the server to have the manager see me. I explained to the manager how terribly disappointed I was and that we had only come there for the prime rib. All I got from the manager was, "I'm sorry. We ran out. It happens sometimes." Not an offer of a comped beverage or appetizer, nothing. I would not be nearly as upset if this were the first time this has happened at this Outback. But we have experienced their being out of prime rib on two other occasions. I would think they would prepare more if running out happens "frequently." Very disappointed in missing out on my prime rib and even more disappointed in the apparent lack of concern from management.

The restaurant is in a strip mall and I really didnât know what to think about it as we walked up to the doors. Once inside, youâll see the menu on the wall with several specials. You stand in line and place your order with the gentlemen handling the grilling of the steaks. We chose the T-Bone special. It came with salad bar (small salad that you get while still in line), then you make your way to the cashier (same line), get drinks, pay for your food, and then find a table where theyâll bring your steak and potato on a plate. No frills, but the steaks were good. I prefer to sit down and order so not sure Iâll be back. The line did move quickly and the staff was friendly.
