Look, this is not some fancy Italian restaurant but the food is really good and they have been there for decades. I eat there whenever I'm in the area because I can count on it to be consistently tasty and clean.

Arrived and sat at a bar booth but waited far too long for a wait staff. No one was sitting at the bar and only 2 other booths had patrons. 2 waitresses were nearby and definitely knew we were present (5:15 pm). Steak was good and cooked to order. Too much dressing on salad - recommend ordering on the side from now on. It was the all you can eat shrimp special and shrimp was just barely warm - not piping hot. Wait staff totally inconsistent. In the end we ended up with 3 different servers - not sure which one actually was responsible. Usually at Outback a manager does walk the floor occasionally- no manager seen. Time for management to get its act together and address poor service issues. In the end the bartender- from behind the bar - asked if I would like more shrimp - obviously she couldnât be bothered to come around the bar and ask. Hello,This is very disappointing. We always want you to have great service and delicious, fresh food. J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Maytag Blue potato
Another great evening at J Gilbertâsâa super way to wrap up the Labor Day holiday weekend. Martinis were excellent and 1/2 price wine on Mondays is hard to beat. Fabulous buffalo mozzarella and heirloom tomato salad to start followed by a sirloin steak for hubby and filet & shrimp combo for me. Totally awesome and Rob, our server, made it a relaxed and wonderful evening with dinner in the barâour favorite. We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Thanks for a great time. Canât wait to return.

The crown jewel of the Hartford, Connecticut dining scene, Max Downtown has been serving its guests for over 21 years and remains a fan favorite. After a top-to-bottom renovation in the summer of 2017, the restaurant has never looked (or tasted) better.

We have made The Capital Grille our go-to venue for special events and we had four birthdays to celebrate -- husband's, mother-in-law's, stepfather-in-law's, and my impending milestone event. The valet parking (LAZ) was attentive and polite. Our OpenTable reservation was immediately honored. Our table was decorated for the birthdays, which was a nice touch. The server was professional. The description of specials was problematic, as there was no price offered for each appetizer and main course items. Also, I ordered a Perrier, but was asked if a Pellegrino was acceptable, which it was: I was very surprised to see a large bottle of sparkling water, when I was expecting a single-serving size -- particularly as I was the only person drinking sparkling water (and would have been perfectly happy with a club soda from the soda gun at the bar). We ordered appetizers, steaks and two sides. The lobster bisque and clam chowder were reported to be excellent; the corn chowder seemed a bit thin; the beet salad was a miss -- the beets were too thick and use of red and yellow beets would've made the plate pop, rather than just red beets. All the steaks were excellent. The creamed spinach was good; the au gratin potatoes had a novel topping, but we prefer the au gratin potatoes at J. Gilbert's. Complimentary desserts were provided and received excellent reviews, although I ordered a creme brûlée and took mine home. The server kindly got an extra bone or two for our pups at home, which they devoured this morning. One minor complaint: we had thought that the remainders of the bread basket would be in the leftover bag, but perhaps we should've made that clearer by putting the breads on a plate -- I was looking forward to toasting the dark bread for breakfast this morning. Long story short -- my so-called "acid test": would I go back? Yes, we like The Capital Grille for special occasions and will return for anniversaries and birthdays in the coming years.

Only our second visit, but both times the food was very good. Prices are reasonable. Good service. If it wasnât for the noisy atmosphere, weâd go more often. Also a minor complaint, the boneless chicken wings, were cut up white meat, not wings. But they tasted very good anyway.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margar
We are huge fans of Texas Roadhouse, and starting 2019 with this experience, not sure when we will try again... the first problem was that they were seriously understaffed (we came early at 4pm hoping to beat the rush) (understandable, yet unacceptable)...the cheese fries appetizer was a huge disappointment... hopefully they ran out of the usual fries, and didnât permanently switch to the cheap fries they were serving tonight. My husband tries to eat healthy, so his go to here has been the half baked chicken...this has been removed from the menu...finally the meal (3 salads and a bbq chicken) took 1 hour to come out. Usually the manager visits the table to check on is, but no one stoped by tonight. Hopefully this was all just what they chalk up to a bad day, but unfortunately for Texas Roadhouse lovers, it left a bad taste in our mouths....

Located in The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk along South Windsorâs Route 194 (at exit 62 off of I-84), Burtons Grill is just a stoneâs throw from the Buckland Hills Mall. A perfect lunch or dinner spot for shoppers and locals, also great for power lun
I enjoyed a delicious burger accompanied by a sweet potato salad, the perfect early summer meal. Our server was savvy and upbeat, and the restaurant's "vibe" was energetic without being overwhelming. I see others recommend it as a stop off 84 and I would agree with that, plus the mall it's in offers interesting shopping.
