Early dinner and greeted quickly. Our server was Josh and he was great! The drinks were good, the food was delicious! My husband’s steak was just right, medium done. I loved the grilled shrimp better than the fried shrimp that was a bit spicy with the breading. The Mac n cheese was the best! Really had a nice start to our vacation.

This is a great new steakhouse in a great old building. The building is the historic Lewisville Feed Mill. Really enjoyed the beef Wellington in particular. Only a few beers on tap, but otherwise the bar was great too. Nice atmosphere. Not as noisy as many steakhouses even with a good crowd.

Bistecca

I've had some great experiences here and I have some sentimental value for this spot because Bistecca (formerly The Grotto) hosted my wedding reception and on occasion sold the spirits that I made. All things considered, this place is not aging well.We went for drinks and dinner on a Wednesday, hoping for a light crowd, which we got. Bar service was good and the selection was decent. I could see that some renovations had been made since my last trip in the bar. We were able to get the table that we wanted; so, that was a plus. The wine list is diverse and pretty good. I recommend the Ramian Chapter 11 (the winemaker is an old friend.)The menu has many items to choose from; and, I believe that they are all well thought-out and prepared. I ordered the Osso Bucco, which was prepared perfectly. The sea bass was a very small portion. I usually order a side of Foie Gras; but, it was recently taken off the menu, for lack of interest. All in all, its still a pretty good place to fine dine. The décor is lots of artwork depicting World War II celebrities along with music from the same era, i.e. Sinatra, Dean Martin, ballroom, etc. I guess it seems dated to me because, now most of the people of this era are passed on and I can't closely relate. I also don't see or sense any attempt to differentiate from other restaurants that do "farm to table" or use sustainable resources. It appears to be frozen in place, not evolving. For this reason I worry that it will lose favor with more demanding patrons who have multiple choices locally.

Outback Steakhouse

This used to be a very good restaurant, but started “going downhill” about five years ago. I decided to try their food again this evining, so called in my order for curbside pick-up. I should have wxpected something bad when I noriced rpthat there were only 4-5 cars in their parking lot. I had orderd a 6-oince Victoria filet with a garsen salad and baked potato (with all condiments on the side. The young lady who brought the food to my car was both very noce and prompt. Having paid for my meal online, I tipped her and drove home. The steak was cooked properly and was extremely tender. The salad was OK - difficult to screw up a salad. The baked potato, unfortunately, had been baked no later than yesterday, and probably the day before. It was terrible. If they want to improve their number of customers, they should throw away every evening the cooked potatoes that don’t sell. Definitely not recommended.
