If you are a steak lover, this is the place for you. There is a good selection of steaks to choose from, both South American and black Angus. I had the ribeye which was superbly cooked, nicely caramelised on the outside yet rare on the inside. Friends were equally impressed with their fillet steaks. The black pudding starter was excellent although there wasnât much of it. Thereâs also a good wine list. Service is good, weâll definitely be back next year

Been coming to carvoeiro for a number of years. Last night is always a return match for our favourite of the week. Stone steak it is....Great food choices, especially if you like steak (but there is other stuff too apparently!)Starters, I recommend the garlic prawns, fabulous. The goats cheese is great too!Steaks are excellent and services is great Wines are reasonable and good quality (i recommend the plansel selecta - white) but also really enjoy the flambé selection of desserts - a bit of a show, but light, boozy and very tasty...Staff are excellent and the atmosphere is great... will definitely be back with the family...Thanks and enjoy....

Really enjoyed our meal again this year at Casa Algarvia, the traditional dishes are really lovely and the fresh fish is fantastic. We had the same great service from by and large a similar serving staff, all very friendly and helpful.

We were recommended to go here whilst on holiday with friends and family. I had the fillet streak on the hot stone and can honestly say it was probably the best Iâve ever had. It came with a choice of sauces that were all very nice. We went on Friday and are returning tonight, our last night. Strongly recommend it. Thanks for your visit and your comment. Visit us again :)It will be a pleasure to receive again..

How this restaurant is not in the top 10 in Carvoeiro is beyond me because the service and food are out of this world, most probably because it used to be called Biffe until a new owner bought it and its the appearance from the road doesnât help and the name doesnât exactly slip off the tongue but please donât be put off by that because if you like fish then order the grilled mixed fish with potatoes and vegetables itâs absolutely amazing for â¬15 !! or the monkfish and rice - fantastic flavours, itâs a sister restaurant to âA Galeâ across the road so that speaks for itself. This restaurant deserves a better rating than TA give it but itâs up the customers and reviewers to give it the rating it deserves. Just try it. The fish grill consisted of tuna steak,salmon,scallop, codfish, King Prawn and langostino served with potatoes and vegetables Thank you so very much.....Your comment make me so happy This is why I love my job. Best regards
