Restaurant located in the Camino Real Aparthotel and Spa.
We had dinner in this restaurant located downtown in La Paz. Service is friendly and timely. Most of us had meat and it was excellent (beef or chicken). A buffet is available for vegetables, soups and dessert. Worth a visit !Hello Petrus61,Thanks for the visit and the lovely review, best regards.

After a couple of disappointing meals in Bolivia we were so happy to find this place. Excellent and good quality meat. Very large servings. Our bellies were very satisfied after visiting this place. I had the mac and cheese burger which was massive but delicious. Very smoky inside from the barbecuing but was worth it.Dear ChristineThank you very much for your opinion! we hope you can come again soon.Kind Regards.

Our host mentioned this was one of his favorite Italian restaurants, so we decided to give it a shot. I ordered the spaghetti Carbonara while my husband ordered the lasagne with meat. Since the picture of the spaghetti dish on the menu looked rather sparse, I ordered a side salad with chicken. The lasagne received rave reviews. The salad was mixed greens, some tomatoes, and quite a generous portion of chicken strips. The Carbonara was another story; it was disappointing. There was little flavor to the sauce, though bacon pieces were in evidence. The sauce was runny, not creamy. The portion was adequate, but the taste was definitely lacking. When I saw our credit card bill, I truly did not believe this meal was worth the cost.

I am not a professional reviewer, and this is just my opinion. My wife and I have dined in this restaurant several times, in addition to having breakfast there as hotel guests. In all honesty, we have not been tempted to eat anywhere else while in La Paz, which is one of the weirdest cities we have visited. It's not that we would feel unsafe, but traffic is just insane, and after our first dinner there we did not think we needed to go anywhere else. The dining room is large and airy, with a modernistic look and non intrusive music piped from Bose speakers. In any case, most if not all main courses include a trip at the salad bar, which in addition to a variety of greens and lettuce offers the always delicious soup of the day and a four or five varieties of desserts. For many people (including my wife) that would be enough for a meal. The entrees are quite generous in size - in particular the "Parrillada Especial" offers eight different kinds of meats could easily feed two people. The only negative comment I would make is that, on two occasions there was no sides to the entree, not sure why. There are a number of Bolivian traditional dishes and a good selection of entrees, including seafood and pasta, which should satisfy all tastes. The wine list is smallish and could include more selections, even if the emphasis is on Bolivian wines. Service was friendly and efficient, no complains there. Finally, I should mention that prices are extremely reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber. Very highly recommended.Dear Apiquet,Thank you very much for your time for leave such a complete opinion. It is a pleaseure to know that you enjoyed all the details and services in suites Camino Real. Every detail is thinking of you.I was a pleasure having you as a guest, we hope to have you back with our best attentions.Best Regards.Hector Salinas

After 2 months travel we wanted a steak! And wow did we find the right place. We shared a tender loin steak of 1.2 kg (190 bolivianos) including fries (surprisingly decent nothing special though) and a generous sallad bar. We chose to have the steak rare and it was perfect. Delicious! So much food though. You can easily share 3 or even 4 people. The guacamole was good and the service fast and efficient. We were the only two people at the restaurant when we arrived. The setting could be made more cosy. It's like a cafeteria at the moment. But the tasty steak and the fantastic value for money gives it a 5 star review.
