At Ornithes, taste and quality are our priority! Enjoy all our gastronomic suggestions in a comfortable and welcoming environment with the signature of the distinguished chef George Stylianoudakis.
I visited twice recently this place. It's been great both times. Nice selection of food and drinks, original tastes compared to similar take aways in the area. The sit in experience is great, good service. Strongly recommend, both for a meal out asa well as order at home. Value for money. The wedges with wakamole starter is fantastic!

Third generation restaurateurs, we followed our father's and grandfather's paths, keeping abreast of food trends and creating meat-oriented dining concepts. We always aim for change and innovation, but at the same time tradition remains an important part
The brothers who run the place definitely know their mear. The place attracts local commoners and celebrities and is the place for all types if grilled meat. Top quality very good service upish market prices.

I have visited many very good and expensive restaurants in the world, but the specific one i do not understand why it is so expensive. The food was good, the service was fine, the environment wad boring and “tired”. And the prices very high.

This restaurant specializes in meat, mainly beef.It is a nice, relatively small restaurant in a residential area of Kifisia which offers top quality meat. They do not have printed menus, your waiter brings a tray of various cold starters that you can pick off the tray on the spot, and informs you of the warm starters of the day. You are then offered the day's choices for main course. The steak on the spit and the beef flap steak are signature choices, and both highly recommended! The inside area is smoke free, and the front yard in winter is enclosed with glass panels fitted with gas heaters for a few smokers´ tables. This is not strictly in accordance with the law, plus that you need to walk through the smokers area to get to the smoke-free part of the restaurant, with the interconnecting door always open (so you might get a whiff of cigarette smoke smell now and then even in the non smoking area) but still you get a nice smoke-free meal. The interior is simple, with minimal decoration, but feels spacious as the tables are not crammed together. The service is professional, prompt and pleasant. We have been here many times, both in winter and in summer, and we have always had excellent meat. Desserts vary - on our last visit we were offered halva, creme caramel and millefeulle, of which the latter was excellent - the other to nothing special. On this last visit, we were a party of 12, we had many of the starters, house rose wine and beef main courses, with the above mentioned desserts. The quantities were more than satisfying with some food left over. The bill came to an average of 35 euro/person which is a bit high but well worth it! I would recommend holding back on the starters, as the main course quantity is more than what you expect!A few points off for the lack of priced menus, and for the non absolute compliance with the anti-smoking legislation, but all in all a very good choice if you want to enjoy good quality meat!We will visit again, and it is recommended.

Clean place, polite and fast service, mid range pricing. Chicken is better than meat and souvlaki. Good quality and varied alcoholic beverages. Simple nice decor
