Took our kids and grandkids for dinner at Steer n Stein the other night and I was reminded why this place has packed the house for the past 30+ years. It's a steak house and they serve darn good steaks. They also have a complete menu at dinner time that covers whatever your favorite meal might be.All prepared to order and served hot. Plenty of sides available. We got so much food that there was not room for the their large desert menu. We didn't wait (5PM) but the place filled up right after and the wait could go 30 minutes. Wait staff earned the large tip we gave her. Recommend it for family or business.

The setting is pretty standard as far as a roadhouse steak joint, with the waitresses in Daisy Dukes and people throwing peanut shells on the floor. The food and service was above average, however. I had a Jim Beam steak and the lady had a half rack of ribs. Both were amazingly good and came with tasty side dishes, such as garlic mashed potatoes, BBQ'd veggies, etc. Also notable were the biscuits that come as a complimentary appetizer. They are freshly made and come with honey whipped butter so they're a great start. The waitresses were quick, polite and thorough. We went on a weeknight and there was no delay in getting a table. My only slight criticism is that it's a little on the spendy side, but the great food and service make up for it. I definitely recommend this place and we will be going back again soon.

This was a nice buffet. The carpets and tables were clean. The food was fresh and tasty. We never eat $15.00 worth of food per person, but we go enjoy the selection. Servers were friendly and seemed to enjoy their role.
