Great choice of food in a very japanese setting! Meat gorgeous! We had bottom sirloin boneless pork rib and pork neck in a sauce which was delish and boneless beef rib and shrimp and a plate of veg for four!! Really nice restaurant

Determined not to eat in the over priced and unpromising hotel restaurant buffet we (husband, me and teenage sons) ventured out and found this restaurant by looking at google maps and we were delighted we did. A simple menu (helpfully an English one was available) of salads and steak of various cuts (with hamburger too if you wanted) served sizzling on hot plates accompanied by rice or fries and/or onion rings. A selection of sauces (garlic, ginger soy etc) and a pile of crunchy bean sprouts finished off the plates and silence descended as everyone tucked in. The staff were efficient and friendly. Sadly, they had sold out of the chocolate cake, nonetheless we left happy and satisfied.

We found this place by accident on a hot steamy Spring afternoon and ate fabulous strawberry shaved ice after being welcomed in by the friendly staff. We had an hour to fill so we relaxed over our ice and drank tea. The next evening we went back for a tasty fresh dinner. We just wished we had more time (or larger appetites) to try more dishes.The staff were welcoming and friendly and could speak good English. The menu is bilingual which is helpful.Itâs a modern Japanese cafe with a bar and food with private areas if thatâs what you needed.The prices are affordable with a range of dishes to appeal to most pockets. If youâre a good walker this cafe is only 10-15 min walk from the train station and itâs easy to navigate.
