We went for the first time. We had the Chipotle shrimp for an appetizer, it was really good. We also had an entrée each--NY Strip and Sirloin/grilled shrimp. Both steaks were done as ordered--very good. However our baked potatoes had 'rot spots' (I am quite picky about my food) which we did not discover til we had eaten most of it--also, they were dry. We were there early so might have been from day before and recooked?? The asparagus was superb. We had soup and salad and the bread. That was filling in itself. Our service was excellent, I believe her name was Abby. She was always on the ball--as soon as we were done with soup she brought our salad and also brought the meal at the perfect time also. So many places bring everything as soon as it comes up--so one is rushed. She always kept our tea filled and allowed us to enjoy our meal, instead of constant interruptions. Mgmt seemed nice, and visited some of the tables to see how people were doing. Table behind us seemed a bit difficult, but staff handled it professionally. I would definitely recommend this place. A bit high riced, but you get what you pay for

While visiting friends in the Crystal Lake area, I mentioned I would love to have a steak for supper. They mentioned that the local Texas Roadhouse really did a fine job. So off we went and I was not disappointed. Our server was fast with drinks and the orders. Not to much later our came our entrees and mine was grilled to perfection. Just a fine cut of beef, and that and my potato with extra butter and sour cream was really a meal that hit that happy spot in my tummy. I hope my friends take me there next time I visit.

first timer here and was for my 84th birthday,had a wonderful rib eye steak done just right,baked potato and house salad.sergvice was great and always asked did we need more butter,dressing,top off coffee..I was pleased with all.
