Choice steaks, seafood & global wines served in warm, sophisticated setting with a heated patio. Live music Tuesday-Saturday.
From the atmosphere, service, drinks, appetizers to main course everything was awesome! Reservation asked if there was an occasion to be celebrated for which I said 32nd Wedding Anniversary. Anticipated something more than just "happy anniversary" at the very end of the evening. Didnt damage the wonderful evening.

This was the 1st time in many years to go to this particular restaurant. They had some lobster specials so we decided to try it again. Wish we had gone down the road instead. Service was slow. Took an hour from order to arrival of food. My son ordered medium rare and got medium well. I had some sort of lobster platter. Picture looked great and thought there would be enough to share with my wife. Nope. Portions were really small. The tail wasn't much bigger than my thumb. The stuffed shrimp came out cold and raw. They made more and they at least were okay. Sides were decent. They had a decent variety of choices on the menu. Overall, prices were on the high side for what you got.

I was excited to have a new Salt Grass Steakhouse in town, but I won't be going back. The food was just not worth the price, and the steak was full of gristle and chewy. Very disappointing!

Good menu with lots of choices, fairly fast service and pleasant waitstaff. You'll get served plenty so if you go away hungry you just didn't eat it all. Thanks for the review Susie, we really appreciate the kind words! Let us know what we can do to make it 5 stars next time!

Texas de Brazil is a Brazilian steakhouse or churrascaria, that features endless servings of ï¬ame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as well as an extravagant salad area with a wide array of seasonal chef-crafted items.
We arrived at Texas de Brazil promptly at 5:00pm and were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our server, Alex, was prompt and gracious and explained the dining system to us. We started with the salad bar which was well laid out with extensive delicious offerings. The salad bar itself could be an entire meal with various salad offerings, cheeses, cold cuts, and soups. The meat variety was extensive with each of the offerings being well prepared and delicious. My favorites were the Beef Rib; thinly sliced, juicy and tender, and the Brazilian Sausages. The Leg of Lamb and the Lamb Chops were equally delicious. All in all Texas de Brazil in Tyler. Texas is a great dining experience.

Members of my family ordered steak and sea food dish stated all was wonderful --I ordered crab cakes which was average . Service excellent but waitress was very talkative. I've never eaten at a restaurant that added taxes onto check --I don't know what this was about. We had a party of six ---a gratuity was added on without us knowing about this because we did not receive an itemized check at end of meal . My husband added a tip unto check besides the 20% gratuity added by restaurant ( no where on the menu or anywhere else was this posted ) so be aware . At most restaurants gratuity is not added unless the party is 8 or greater. Before being seated for meal I was asked for drivers license ---never has this been done at any restaurant that I've eaten at in the past ---kinda cheesy
