Hubby & I stopped during the week for dinner about 530-545pm. We found it unusually crowded for a weekday! We were able to get seated & ordered a few minutes after 6pm. The waitress got our order in right away, so each meal was $8.99. Hubby raves over chicken critter salad & I had sirloin with sauteed mushrooms: includes 2 sides too They usually have happy hour specials or drink specials till 7pm. Call ahead to get your name on waitlist prior to arriving, even during the week!

Petite filet excellent. Bacon side 3 excellent strips. Cheesy scalloped potatoes. Excellent. Vodka martini. Excellent. Service excellent. Sat at the bar. Upscale casual. People in dress clothes or nice jeans and shirts. Great for a special occasion or on a great visit to Columbus. Be sure to walk around and see the great decor and photo wall in basement. Piano singer at the bar. Nice touch.

I recently visited Eddie Merlotâs after a couple of years and Iâm still pleased with the ambience, service and quality of food. We had the calamari appetizer and the filet mignon king crab oscar with a side of Eddieâs scalloped potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. For dessert we had strawberry shortcake-it was much larger than expected and quite good. Add a few glasses of wine and the bill gets hefty but itâs well worth it. Iâm glad to see that this restaurant is still at the top of their game even after Jeff Rubyâs opened.

Hubby and I had reservations and arrived early after a shopping trip at Polaris Mall. Overwhelmed hostess so we waited in a line for 6 minutes to be even acknowledged. Everything changed when we got seated in Chickâs station. He gave us great suggestions for food - which we took happily - and provided attentive service! Food items NOT to miss: Queso with lobster, spinach salad, strip steak with blue cheese and mushrooms! Thank you, Chuck, we will be back!

Everyone from the manager to the waitresses, meat guys, and host was so friendly and happy. Very positive atmosphere. Along with the service, the food was excellent and the variety of meats are endless we will be back again and again!

Our reservation was for 7:30. We finally placed our order at 8:15. The salad arrived at 8:35. Not sure what the problem was. Our server, Jackson was the bright spot of the evening, very personable and accommodating. I was about to order the lobster risotto, then he told us that "there is no lobster meat in the dish, just lobster stock".Our entrees were good, although the mushroom risotto that accompanied mine was hopelessly over-cooked mush and not edible. We had not been back to this restaurant in a very long time, and sadly, its kitchen has gone down in quality quite a bit. With tip, our two entrees and two drinks totaled $117, which is quite a bit for just ok food. The table across from us sent one of their entrees back twice, and it took forever for the kitchen to get it right. There was a time when this restaurant was a consistent, high-quality, nice experience. Unfortunately, like many other restaurants, the clientele now wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops, and even pajamas. The manager should give Jackson a huge bonus.

Dinner here with the convention group was VERY good. Quiet atmosphere made it easy to converse (noisy seems to have become the standard so many places), attentive wait staff was greatly appreciated, and the food choices were excellent. Chilean Sea Bass was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and worth the trip just for that. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We have dined here many times, and always look forward to a trip to Easton so we can dine at The Ocean Club. Simply put, the food and service are always top-notch. The wine list is extensive, so we always find a great bottle that pairs perfectly with our dinners. The restaurant is nicely appointed, and dining here is relaxing and enjoyable.
