we don't visit here often, with all the taco places in town, notably CACTUS tacos, but when we want to splurge and have a drink, this is where you will find the best meat around. there are mixed drinks, beer, soups, salads, etc. very very good quality, but somewhat expensive

Mr Steak is a very nice restaurant with excellent service. It is conveniently located near hotels and highway 15. It offers a very nice selection of steaks. I had a filet mignon which was perfectly prepared. The menu price was 220 pesos, which by the current exchange rate is about $15.00. I will definitely stop here for dinner on my next trip through Ciudad Obregon.
Sonora, Mexico Food Guide: 5 Latin food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Ciudad Obregon
The shrimp dinner was simply the best, My wife had fish with a cream sauce and enjoyed it. The cocktails were strong. Overall a great meal at a very reasonable price, so much so that we tipped the waiter excessively.
Across the street from the Quality Inn, this was our first visit to this restaurant. We stay in Obregon each year and the hotel food is so so. Our service was professional, meals were excellent, and atmosphere comfortable with Monday Nite Football in the bar. After a days travel from Nogales this combination of hotel and restaurant is perfect. We will definately return and highly recommend. Muchas Gracias
Where to Eat in Ciudad Obregon: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I pass through Ciudad Obregon a few times per year, and this year is the first year Iâve seen Santo Filete. We had a few other favorites in town, but this was a great surprise.Their specialty is steaks, with grilled chicken, and seafood. I had the fillet mignon, which was tender, and perfectly-done. And the fillet was not what I expected. Instead of serving the steak in its typical form, they served an actual three-inch length of the tenderloin, wrapped in bacon. It was one of the best Iâve had. My wifeâs seared tuna was just as good. The service was excellent. One nice touch was that when you ask for leftovers to go, they donât bring them to your table while youâre having dessert, as is the custom in the US. They keep them by the door, and hand them to you on the way outâ¦a nice touch. Ciudad Obregon is a convenient halfway stop on the way to Mazatlán⦠and Santo Filete will be a regular part of that visit from now on.
