Kouroumpelo may commenced as a student meeting point with attractive for students prices but on the way became a meeting point for all generations. Nice traditional Greek dishes , stong in tasty , not very expensive. Very friendly.

We are located in the old city of Chios inside the Genovese Castle. Overlooking the Ottoman baths with a fantastic garden. The uniqueness of the location and our tavern, the quality and our prices will make you our fans. Cooking with passion !!!

Eleni is an amazing cook.We are regulars in Greece and love greek food. This restaurant exceed our expectations, we were in Chios town for three days end up eating here both nights and lunch just before we leave. Very close to the port so great to catch a bite before you leave. They have live music on Saturday and the band is great. You won't regret it, try Elenis Suvlaki it's the best ever.

Open all year round from noon till late night, I like coming here after job or shopping to eat souvlaki and superb (!) fresh french fries with a glass of cold beer!Especially after shopping hours, it's nice and quiet because you avoid the crowded roads of the port and you can relax till late.Fast service is one more plus.

THEOPISTI means "I beleive to GOD" and actualy is the name of a tanker vessel. It looks like that the owner after working several years to tanker THEOPISTI as seaman (Pumpman) he gained the requested money to run his business at Chios. He is doing a great job. He offers good meat , nice gossip with the customers in a clean and safe environement

After wandering amongst the maze of narrow streets of this old hilltop village we suddenly came out into the sunshine of Mpou [i.e. "BOU"] square and this restaurant.What a pleasant surprise. Our limited Greek went a long way to securing a delicious spread of food, served with cosy hospitality.If you think of all your favourite Greek dishes, this is the place to find them prepared in the best way possible.Outstanding for us was the home made macaroni and various soft cheeses . Everything was sourced from the owners' ktima.We finished off with a glass of local produced souma [fig liqueur]--something not easy to find.
