This place was a very pleasant surprise. The exterior is rather unassuming, but the interior is like an old-fashioned speakeasy. We were warmly welcomed, and our server was attentive and pleasant. This is a pricey place. It is expensive not just by college-town standards, but by any standards. Personally, I think they charge more than what the food is worth. That being said, the food is very, very good. I had a small steak. It was cooked perfectly. I also had the creamy horseradish sauce, which was delightfully spicy! My daughter had the chicken, and she loved it. We also shared a creme brulee for dessert, which was quite good. So........great food, but high prices.

Nothing better than family style dining for a 50th birthday celebration! Dinner begins with bread and pickled vegetables on the side. Mixed salad with house dressing. The Lamb shanks are to die for, thick tender cooked to desired specification and of course mint jellie. It's obligatory... Desert is a small dish of Pralines and Cream ice cream to finish off a family birthday.

Our waitress was top notch sociable, efficient, and a contributor to our fine experience at this restaurant. Eating out is not to satiate hunger--it is to enjoy atmosphere, ambiance and finally, some good food. The Two Twenty fits the bill. Underpinned by fine and warm service, the food met all of our expectations.

Went for a late lunch and restaurant wasnât that busy. Our order took almost 40 minutes to arrive and the fries were soggy and mushrooms burned. Eventually we got our waitress attention and they recooked food but it took forever. No apologies or discount was offered. Never saw the manager!
